I could see them winning the next gen of consoles. I think a lot of lessons have been learned from the ps3. The sophisticated hardwear really didn't help the system early on. We saw some pretty crappy ports of games and I think this hurt sales in the long run.

I currently own a 360, had a ps3 for awhile but was pretty disappointed. I'm in my early 20's but my best years of gaming came with the ps1 and ps2. actually thats a lie I'd say my best years of gaming were and are on the PC but for console gaming it's been sony.. To me sony is and should be the leader in the console wars. The first big step is going to the AMD processor like the one that is rumored. It will be straight line programming for devs, and could even allow the ps4 to be the lead programming machine when making games.

I'm pretty much a very hopeful sony fan. I don't own sony's current console but I have the older ones and I still get a lot of use out of them to this day. Would absolutly love to see sony get back to its glory days.

I've always preferred Sony's consoles as opposed to their handhelds... mostly because the hardware and software were just WAAAAAYY too pricey (although the 3DS has got some pretty expensive games as well, I honestly don't think a handheld game should be anymore than $30).

The 90's in general were a highlight for gaming, so that's why the PS1 and PS2 did so well. I still remember the awe of seeing games like Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid on the PS1, and how a game as amazing looking and playing like Resident Evil 4 could have been ported sobeautifully to the PS2. The Nintendo systems were great as well. All was fantastic. The current gen of gaming became so much about the technology that much of the gaming magic and charm was lost, there was little to really innovate anymore, but it's really the same with any mediums, movies as well.

I personally love the PS3, and would take it over the Xbox anyday. Not sure why the 360 is SO much more preferred in the U.S. over the PS3, considering it's fees, lack of features from the outset (an early Wi-fi adaptor necessary for the Xbox? HD-DVD only? A really uncomfy controller?), and very bulky and cumbersome hardware including a very uncomfortable controller and weird button layout if you ask me. But judging from the early rumors, if both Sony and Microsoft get greedy and take on this "no used games/ no traded games/ games locked to personal accounts" nonsense, it could spell the end of gaming for the masses.

I personally love my 360. I have wireless N built in on my slim, PS3 does not have, I have a solid anline connection ALL the time. All my multiplatform games run flawless and lets face it, the best games to come out are mulitipllatform so it is important to me. The controller fits my man size hands and does not give me cramps like the little ps3 controller does. Lastly party chat is a MUST if you have friends. I can jump in and out of games or whatever and never have to break chat with a group of buddies. Plus 35 dollars a year is nothing for a superior online expereince. I think that is why most people like the 360 better to the poster above. I own a PS3 and my 360 and its exclusives I think are lightyears ahead.

I think we all know this;)

It's because it's from an American company, and Americans are patriots like that... it's not just consoles , everything.......

Removing PS3 games compatibility and no second hand games has just destroyed all hopes of mine to get the PS "Orbis".

Sony can always wins any Gen if it does it right, not just because of their history and/or reputation in the industry, but it's because what their systems always strive to attempt, which is usually a roundabout console. Xbox still targets Western demographics and appeals to FPS, while Nintendo are solid on their family oriented policies. The only thing the PS3 did wrong this Gen, was Sony.

The best games are multilat on the 360 because your exclusives are mediocre. For 2011, all your games got beat down by batman, ROFL...

How can you say the 360 exclusives are lightyears ahead when all you have are childish games like Shotguns of Snore 3? In this game, you're once again fighting the "bad guys" with a cliched and childish storyline that sounds like it was written by a retarded infant.

No, you don't have a superior online gaming experience, dumb$hit. You're paying for an inferior, P2P network that costs nothing on microsoft's end to maintain. You're being scammed. Most of PS3 exclusive online gaming is run on dedicated servers, so it's arguable that you get a better experience on the PS3.

Most people do not like the 360 better. The PS3 is destroying the 360 in sales with an average of 50k more consoles sold per week. The 360 sold more due to the RROD fiasco and many people on their 10th 360. Outside the US, the 360 is a flop. The poster before me nailed it. The 360 only does well in America because it's made by an American company. No matter how superior Sony makes its consoles, it'll lose to MSFT's in America.

You're an idiot, you're in denial and you're insecure.

By the way, I'm not a PS3 fanboy. I own all 3 consoles. I give credit where it's due. The 360 is a miserable disappointment. I have friends who prefer the 360 and I always ask them the same question: Why do you prefer the 360?

They always give me the same response. T3H 3XPER1ENC3!!! I ask them what experience? They can't even answer. You xbots are like Apple fanboys. You prefer something but can't give a reason why. Your exclusives suck, you don't have a good amount of exclusives, you're paying for an inferior network (No, don't tell me $35/year is nothing to you. Most people pay $60. If you're paying for nothing it's a scam at the end of the day no matter how small the cost), more multiplats for 2011 run better on the PS3. What is the 360's redeeming value?

Anything else you want to talk about?

P.S. Check my sig.

You really shouldn't take unfounded rumors as fact.

I started in the 80s on C64 bu Ive been an exclusive sony fan since ps1 came out. I predict I will be for ps4 to unless they block used games on the console. I really hope they don't coz sony are great so far but thats a dealbreaker if it comes to pass.
