I'd say: Second analogue nub - We'd finally have decent controls for more 3D games... Internal memory - 4GB ? Tilt sensor - imagine the fun Loco Roco 2 would be? Backup flash - With an option or some sort of backup feature that restores the factory settings if it ever got itself "bricked". It's beyond me why this wasn't in the original model... Other possibilities could be things like built in camera, which could potentially be used as the tilt sensor in some... Weird way. They may take out the UMD drive as they've decided backwards compatibility isn't as important now too. Of course, we can speculate all sorts of crazy ideas, like TV-out, upgraded wireless(802.11g/n instead of 802.11b), holographic projection modules...

Oh fk that. What they should add is -phone cabability or at least a built-in mic -2mpx macro camera -use UMDs or maybe newer mini-dvds(if those ever increased in capacity) -RAM, for god's sake some ram for everything -good equalizer -more media formats -2nd analog, maybe, but extra shoulders woulnt hurt either. Basicly make this guy into a proper media player with full range of features and a gaming system, to really top other devices like Sony planned.
Do you think there is any likelyhood that sony would make a psp2? I mean, I am a big PSP supporter, but its not like they are dominating the market atm, do you think they'll even bother?
Honestly, no, there's no real need for it. If they did, the cost would drive people away. Its perfect at the 200 it is now and its features can be upped easily enough to make it a good all-around device.

Yea, WE(the community) did it. Sony tried to fight it with FW updates and still failed.
They should stop releasing new updates every week. They should stop trying to fight the homebrew war and focus on games. An LCD screen that is non reflective so it could be easier to play in the sun not to mention a brighter screen. A second analog would be perfect. What would be the best is if it was even more portable like slimmer and more lightweight.
You guys do know they are making a new psp with 2 analog sticks right? It's supposed to play the same kind of games but one will have internal memory so you won't need a mem stick and the other will have more flash memory (i guess so you can watch youtube vids and stuff online) and both will have 2 analog sticks
