Well, Trophies are mandatory now, I don't think that one counts. Unless you're talking about old games that don't support them. I think they should get to work on cross-game voice chat. I don't even have a headset yet, but I think it's something Sony need to do to make PSN feel more unified and connected.

It means being able to talk to people in your friends list even if you're currently playing different games. For example, if I was playing Resistance 2 and a friend was playing Warhawk, we would be able to talk through cross-game voice chat. Right now, it's not possible until Sony implement it in an update.
Even though im not that much interasted in PS2 games i would still like the abilty to play them. haveing a emulator or something would be great. just as long as thay dont go the greedy route like ninty abd make us pay to play games we might already have origanal copies of. Have it were we have the option of buying say mgs3 as a downloadable game BUT if we already own the game on disk the allow us to just put in the disk and play it like that.
ps2 bc im so pissed i sold my ps2 thinkin i could play my games on ps3 but sony of course screwed me over and no im not that "nerdish" to get a bigger gig for $100 more thats bs

Forget Home game launching they should have game launchig and parties straight from the XMB.
But an update I would want is more chat features. In a chatroom, play music, or web browse or show more pics as well as in-game chatroom so you can talk to your friends no matter where you are on the XMB. And I know this can be done because there are 3rd party softwares on computer (Ventrilo, TS) that work where you can talk to friends. Once that's done they can incorporate game invites if possible or atleast parties and game launching.
Couldn't care less about chatting or trophies or backwards compatibility. I'd just like the ability to make folders for sorting music and videos how I want to. The few they have now don't really cut it.

As a 360 owner who uses cross-game private chat all the time, and as someone who has tried a cell phone as a replacement, there's no comparison.
Just because you don't need/want it or see a need for it doesn't make it "BS".
Agreed, not all my friends on PSN are from my area i meet people from games too how could I rack up my phone bill just calling them? Same thing with local calls, I cna't just use my minutes on my cell phone to talk online. In-game chat and invites would make things better. Especially in-game chat.

It wont only save money but it would be easier to communicate while playing games.

I'd like one that doesn't force me to update to the next firmware if I want to play online and that isn't a Russian roulette, because since 2.40 you never know if your PS3 is going to survive the update. Some consoles make it, some just don't and if you're not under warranty, then you have to pay Sony $150. That's so crappy....:evil:
