This is just like those games that Nintendo has and people say they are kiddy for it. This is obviously an extremely interesting and seemingly amazing game, anyone of any age could buy it and have fun. But there will always be those people who see this game as "kiddy" and not buy it because of it.
As to the topic at hand, I don't own a PS3, but my cousin does and he is 27 or 28 (I forget which) and he's getting it. He's excited about it (as am I) about it. If I had a PS3 (maybe eventually) I'd get it too, and I'm 18.

You try convincing someone this game is going to be amazing. They look at you strangely because, to them, it looks like mario with dolls.
I don't need to try and convince anyone this game is amazing, this thread and the countless people who are anticipating LBP are living proof. Maybe its just the people you hang out with that have no interest in the game. :/

Just wanted to mention, that you put 12-15 when you have to be 14 or older to own a gamespot account, unless they changed this from when I made an account. I'm 15 and i will be buying it when i have enough money.
I'm 18 and i don't think age really matters. I own a wii as well and love the games. I know you're just curious but i think anyone that refuses to buy a "kiddy" game because their friends would make fun of them really needs to grow up.I play Viva pinata and it's loads of fun. Also Lbp is going to be my first ps3 game that i buy i can't wait for it.
