people say that we as humans only use 10% of our brains, weel what would happen if a major pharmasuetical company enabled a way so that select humans can acess that other 90%? like soliders, basically you play a character part of the control group(7) selected to test the serum (pill whatever...) and it is a sucess, your physical abilities alone skyrocket, rapid regeneration, incredible speed and strength, and extremely hightened senses. so the company takes its product public, but 30 years down the road(and because of the serum you age very slowly, almost like reverse dog years) the company gets greedy and decides to use it to control everyone by impalnting nanomachines into them that reacts in such a way that it gives control over every human on earth, but with the exception of the original 7, who are not affected by the nanomachines. so the company decides to execute the 7 so as to have complete control, but you along with 2 others survive and decide that it must end, no one but god should have the power to control life. then it becomes a mixture of MGS4, RSV, COD, basically all of the greatest shooters

i agree sounds great, i'd buy it!
what i would make would be: some sort of assassins creed but in present time, guns etc, and still in open world in a city (thats what im hoping AC2 is).
or in the FPS category; (ive thought about this for a while) some sort of survival game aliens, zombies (hehe).Have an open world city. you (the main character) is some ex military guy (so he knows how to use a gun/weapons) has to lead a group of survivors out of the city.
that could be built on but yeh, general concept.
EDIT: a developer needs to employ some of the general gamer population to design the game story, characters, location (map). but not do any of the developing, just the brainstorming.
An incredibly realistic shooter with maps 2 miles long. People would be in teams of 6-12 and you would have mission objectives like get a hostage.
One team starts high up on a cliff in a base with the hostage, and one 2 miles away under the cliff. The rescue team would have to sneak to the base without getting noticed by the snipers.
but insted of it being straightforward I would have loads of ways to get to the base. You could just use the pathway, or you could send one person to sneak to the top, then set up rappel ropes for the rest of the team.
It would be like SOCOM, but morew than just realistic guns, but you would have all the equipment like rappel ropes, wire cutters and stuff so it would be really tactical.
I would like to make to something with a large sense of scale and has the feeling of "epic" into it. Like a fictional timeline of historical china where wars are waged all the time between multiple kingdoms that rules parts of a huge land and each striving to come up to the top. The player would play the role of a country boy whom his village along with his family got wiped out by the fires of war. He learns of the trouble and torture war brings to people and later becomes a soldier and then commander and eventually a general that fights for the most "good" kingdom whose objective is of the most moral ones. I would make the game into a part RTS/action game where you can take command of huge numbers troops, like 10, 000 - 3 or 4 million. You can have total command of your army and can make them move and attack and defend and ambush and whatever you want. It would be like a Total War game, except that you can have a really "sandbox" style gameplay with your troops as to bringing battles however you want. At the same time you're doing that, you as the commander can also take part in fighting the war yourself. You are in the battle, as a commander should always be, and you can fight your way through the enemy alongside your army.
Some of the sandbox style I'm talking about is things like luring an enemy legion into a canyon, and then either push rocks down on them or just fire arrows down, or take them head on by doing a pincer maneurver to attack them from front and back. Or another thing is waiting in hiding for enemies to come into a village and then rain down arrows from afar to burn the village down. I would use a lot of elements and tactic styles that the chinese made up and past down and used in a lot of modern fictional stories. You know that the massive arrow raining thing in 300 were done by the chinese right? Imagine that happening in a game, except unlike the movie 300, people actually dying from that, a lot of people.
basically the war between humans and vampires has waged on for centuries and now the year is 2035 and it is more dangerous because the vampire population is rapidly growing and the secret parts of the military and government have always been able to keep them from taking control of the general public and their war spilling onto public streets. so you play a solider in that secret part of the army (cant think of a cool name yet) and your the new guy, (cant figure a good name either, suggestions would be great) and on your first outing to exterminate a possibel nest that may or may not be housing50+ vampires you are bitten, and at this point you try and hide it form everyone but you eventually lose control and kill a fellow solider, but now you are faced with a decision (its a decsion making game, mixed with COD4 action and semi-open world, like battlefiled bad company) you can either defect and leave the army and join the vampires, stay with the army and (like Blade take a serum that suprersses the affects and the thirst) until they find a cure, or go defect and go on your own and kill both vampires and the army, anyone that stands in your way from finding your own cure. and along the way you will be faced with decisions, like at one point you meet a young girl (around 7) wandering the streets lokking for her parents who had been taken and turned, and with no one esle around you decide to help her but just before you take her somewhere safe you are overcome with an undying thirst and you can choose to let her go, take an extra dose of serum, or..... feed..(all choices come with either negative/positive affects) and it doesnt mattrer even though yo stayed with the army you are still given the option to feed. well thats a very basic idea, so what do you think? any suggestions? let me know :)
