If you have a ps3 and you don't own uncharted you should sell your soul to the devil and become a eunuch. This is by far the best game I have ever played. This game makes tomb raider look like qbert. I was not impressed with the demo. but I picked the game up and there is so much more to it. The demo doesn't even do the game justice. The game is superb in graphics and action. The game play is ridiculous and the acting is phenomenal. This is the best game overall for the ps3 possibly second only in graphics to heavenly sword. What else can I say? Wear sunglasses in an attempt to prevent some Oedipal eye gouging action....it looks that good. banksfree

I heard the game is pretty short, like 8 hours?
Seems pretty lame to me. PS3 games are expensive, almost too expensive, so I might be getting it when it's a little cheaper.

they are the same price as the competition. Thats not what I call expensive. Expensive would be 80/90 (and thats what they cost where I live :( )

The only way this game will be 8 hours is if you rush through it. I beat it on normal taking my time and it took around 14 hours for me plus you still have all the treasures and achievements in the game to unlock and 2 more difficulty settings Hard and Crushing. Normal was tuff but I can only imagine what crushing is like. You have to beat hard to unlock that one.

Unfortunately, I'm one of those that don't play a game twice.
It's weird but when I know the whole story and the ending I just don't feel like playing the game again just to get some cowboy hat or something.

Therefore, I usually stick to long games. I have to admit I'm a little disappointed in PS3 right now.
PS2 had lots of JRPGS yet PS3 got like... none?
I sure hope they start making some JRPGS For PS3.

Edit: Poster above me: Naah, I'm definitely going to pick it up but not too close to the release. Hopefully it might become a platinium game ( if they have that for PS3 too )

I dunno, I havent liked many ps3 games thus far. I loved the Uncharted demo though, Ill have to pick it up when I have the chance.

You must have just been born yesterday, that's ok. Listen the first game that was on the level with 360 was Resistance. When you shoot someone in Resistance they hang naturally over an edge or they fall. IN the newest Halo which would be 3, when someone is shot they lay flat on the edge in an unnatural way, no matter the position. Its almost like gravity doesn't exist. It lacks the physics of Resistance a launch game from Ps3. I'm not even going to talk about Heavenly Sword or Motorstorm... Plus...its not in hd!!!

Most women would agree its not the size of the boat, but the motion in the ocean, however, I have been playing for about 6-8 hours and I am only about 55% complete. Now it is possible that I could suck but the game has been flowing along smoothly. Its a scenic adventure. Some people play a game without enjoying it just to beat it as fast as possible. That's foolish. enjoy the meal.

I had a 360 and abandoned it to escape the red ring. I have a ps3 and the wii just hurts my eyes.

All those games were ok, not great. Its not all about physics, a game has to be fun.

And thats because its all about personal opinion. I hate Halo and HL and cannot play them without getting bored. Heck, even Gears got me bored. So I could say that 360 gets me bored too. Even Wii is lacking fun games that I think I could play.

To me Resistance had a lot of stuff that Halo always missed, even on the third game. Motorstorm though I almost never play it now, was a blast when I bought my 80g. Sometimes great physics add to the gameplay. Killing Chimeras and seing how they fall, and possible stances. Blowing ito small pieces in Motorstorm is a huge part of the game too.

I dont think the game is out in the UK, so what happens to my soul?

I might not get this for a while, I just got R&C which is great.
