I know alot of people want another game like Hot Pursuit 2 or High Stakes. If you're one of those people, heres your chance!

Yeah I heard about the pressure from the people and the heat. People were fainting cause of the heat. And I heard how crowded it was at the front. Too many jerks were at the concert too eh?

It's definately not the same 'type' of street racing, if you want to call it street racing. Tuners, visual baserd tuning, cities and stupid story lines definately don't live up to the 'Need for Speed' name.

i for one do not like the chessy stories but i am a big NFS fan so i got all the NFS games
i think it should be any type of racing and cars but with the gameplay of Hot Pursuit or High Stakes- JUST STRAIGHT RACING

none of this crap about someone stealing money or rep or lame stuff like that

let me choose my car, my track, how much traffic (none, light, medium, heavy-remember those days) and just start the race

oh yeah and dont forget about short cuts :D

The good ol dayshad the best nfs games. I miss the traffic, the commentator, the rain or snow, or cool night time or mirrored tracks, the shortcuts were AWSOME in HP2. The great races that took place in the desert, forest, mountain, paradise and ruins. The good ol stock cars, that were amazing at that time. The Mclaren F1..............Too bad those days are gone.............

I agree, its time to go back to the roots, bring back the helicopter, the cops, that awesome landscape, the cars... enough if the underground games, at least for more one game....

at least with Most Wanted they started bringing back exotics. It's a step in the right direction. I agree that the story line aspect is pretty dumb as well.

Man stop spamming your own thread and get back on topic. I personally do not want to see another game like HP2, it think that Most Wanted had the perfect formula to be a great racer. The only thing that may be lacking in the new one is the fact that cops are non existent.

Most Wanted is the closest they have gotten. Carbonwas horrible. And why do they go with the 1 game in 1 year thing? A great game takes up alot of time, in my opinion.

Get back to what topic? This is my topic, if you haven't noticed, and I'm trying to get the attention of as much classic nfs fans as possible.

I'm sorry, but the street racing is awesome - NFS: Most Wanted was the first consistently satisfying racing game I've bought since Rad Racer for the NES, No joke.

I think I'm a bigger fan of the old school NFS. I still remember back in the day when I was a daily Road & Track reader and saw the ad for "Road & Track presents: The Need for Speed" Once I got it for my pc, I had rediculous amounts of fun. From that game, nfs 2, nfs3 hot pursuit, nfs4 high stakes, nfs5 porsche unleashed, nfs6, hot pursuit 2....the NFS series has been around supercars racing on open roads, not "tuning and ricing" cars out and street gang playtime. I also loved how the older ones had a great crash setup. It wasnt about "being real" or "showing damage" but just cars flipping around like they shouldn't. Seems like today's racers are about BEING REAL or being rediculous. Oh well, just my 2 cents.
