If you wanted to Blow away a Ps2 gen Gamer...

Which 5 games would you reccomend on the ps3 that would bring a gamer that has been hiding under a rock (who has missed out on this gen)into Gameworld Euphoria? It would be best if you diversify the genres (but don't have to) if thereis more than one supurb game in any given genre. Also it would be best if you diversify the gameplay experience(but don't have to) ie... from the combat in a game like uncharted to the combat in a game like Valkaryia Chronicles...

I can also rephrase the question: What would be your best sales pitch if you were to bundle 5 games with the Ps3 if it debuted today (can select from ps3 games past and present) that would do justice to the automobile-like lustered exterior which hailed the arrival of the new gen (in gaming) for Sony?

Well Killzone 2's graphics will absolutly blow your freakin mind and Metal Gear Solid 4 was my first PS3 game so I reccomend it because it has a very sad story and fun gameplay

Playstation Home is a good concept. I can't deny that. I question the execution of it though I'm not so much of a gamer but mine would look something like this.

1) Uncharted 2

2) Valkyria Chronicles

3)COD: Modern Warfare (substituted with MWII when it comes out)

4) Bioshock

5) Little Big Planet

I've only played Modern Warfare. The Valkyria Chronicles spot would be the most controversial... I'm in love with its uniqueness though. ie...artstyle, gameplay. As well as its supposed great story and WWII elements. Close candidates would be.... GTA 4, Demon's Souls, Oblvion, Metal Gear Solid 4... sorry Killzone 2 - the experience is great but I believe IW has the best formula for MMOFPS (and the FPS experience doesn't need to be diluted if list is constricted to 5 games).

I wonder how big of a mistake it would be to leave out at least one sandbox game like GTA 4 or Infamous... one of those would replace VC if it was money I was after. But if it was for goosebump experience I would keep the list as is.

if i wanted to bring games to a ps2 veteran,would give him sequels of ps2 games such as MGS4 and RE5.
