Meh, i think its just an average shooter besides the fact you can destroy anything, that is, IF you have ANYTHING to destroy something with. The game would be so much more fun if you just got a huge arsenal of weapons.
I have to agree with the person above me. It was fun for the first hour. Then it got very old. Very, very quick. The only new thing in the game was you can blow things up. Theres only one class that can. Might rent it if I have some buddys over for a gaming night. Otherwise im a pass.

Meh, nothing like Cod4, which is what i compare most modern day shooters to. Nowhere near the detail or customization of the game and a little over the top how you can heal your self at any time, but whenever you pop out under cover, enemies seem like they are super powered and can snipe with AK-47's, yet you oddly, can't
This game is so much fun, destructible enviroments , being able to ride anything like helicopters, tanks, cars etc. based on the demo, the multiplayer was pretty intense no matter which side your in, the aiming system might get a bit tough, especially for the single player as well, being able to have all them health packs, maybe because the single player campaign is tough as balls, let me say that this walks over cod4, in every category. maybe except for graphics.

Uh, not really. You can actually customize your weapons to your preference and set up abilities that help your playing style in COD4.
That score is hard to believe... I havnt played the full game, but going off the demo it didnt seem like AA material, which that score seem to indicate.
ya the demo wasn't very good i don't think it even deserved a 6.6 in my mind the graphics were bad, the gameplay was bad, and i didn't like how the guns sounded when shot although blowing up everything is fun it's just after cod4 it just another shooter it just boils down to that
I'm happy it's getting positive reviews. I was gonna buy it regardless of what it got, but at least now I won't be as sceptical about buying it.

I too hope they would. Not every shooter has to be as good or better than COD4 or re-invent the genre. I liked COD4 a great deal but for me, the Bad Company demo stomps on it with s***-soiled boots.
ok now we have moved on from complaining about a bad score of a game and defending to bashing a good score of a game and bringing it down. First people complain about no in game xmb and trophies, next was no RPG's although we have 2 coming. Third was about Qore and now this. What is there left to complain about.
Based on the demo, i think it deserved a flat 7.0. No variety...very bland graphics (i have a full HD tv w/ HDMI cable), barely any customization in the weapon system and the iron sights suck ass. I normally compare modern military FPS' to COD4 and i compare futuristic FPS' to Halo 3 (yes Halo 3 is a good game). Surprised IGN gave it an 8.6.
i hate people that compare everything to COD4 the most unrealistic game out there first of all in COD4 u can jump and shoot an M82 50 cal. and you get to choose to many weapons to play with go and ask anybody that has been in the army if he/she got to choose there weapon for a mission its so unrealistic and bad company is so much of a different game its about teamwork to win not just run around and shoot whoever to get points
