Yes, more reviews like this and Gearbox finally delivers a game that could match their 1st Brothers in Arms game. I'll rent the console version this week and get the PC version next week. You already know who I'm playing as.;)

That's Brick, right? :P

LOL.:P I think I'm going to go with Mordecai on my first run then Brick. I'll keep Lilith for the last run. For some reason, I don't particularly enjoy playing as female characters.

Mordecai is the sniper, so it's going to be a while to beat it, according to the reviews.:P I think I'm going to go with Mordecai on my first run then Brick. I'll keep Lilith for the last run. For some reason, I don't particularly enjoy playing as female characters.

Same here :).... I dont enjoy playing as a female as well...M sooooo happyI saved up cash for Borderlands... For which i had to postpone my purchase of Uncharted2 ( a very very tough decision)...But its all worth :)

Roland- the soldier..
Oh right, that's the one.
I'm gonna go:

- Roland

- Mordecai
- Lilith

M gonna go with Ronland first... Then start over again with my levelled up Ronald and max out Ronald... Then gonna try out the others... I hope this game is like Demo's Souls where it doesn really matter with which char you start off, you end up being whatever you want... But i highly doubt that would be the case :(

Oddly enough, as much as I love playing female characters, I share your sentiments on Mordecai.
He looks interesting, I like him.
can anybody tell me if the co-op is fleshed out and fun? What really drew me into this game was my preconceived notion that this game is like (or similar to) Fallout 3, but only it has the ability to be played with co-op. If my notions are correct in any sense, than i may have to get this game (along with my cousin ;))director13i know it was a big focus of the development. there are a few coop specific features as well. the ign review specifically says that the game is more fun to play with others (and even more specifically in your case, to play with others that you know).

Oddly enough I love playing as the Sniper and females, but I'll be playing as neither on my first playthrough. I just can't say no to punching people in the face with my bare fists. I believe his name is Brick (?) and that's who I'll be playing as.
I want, but cannot afford :(ryrulez

Yeah, there definitely is something to it. :P
I didn't know much about this game, but after reading the review I think I'd like it a lot. I'd almost bought Sacred 2 but couldn't find it anywhere, this looks like it would be even better. I hadn't known it was a looting game and mixed with a different play style (not the usual swords and magic) I think it could be a lot of fun.
It's a great game and deserved at least a 9.azzezinoHave you played it yet? Also I kind of find it funny how your sig says you won't spend money on a game with no story mode, and one of the flaws with Borderlands is its lackluster story. I don't want to sound like a jerk, no offense, but I just kind of thought that was a little funny haha. Either way, yeah the game does look good, but I expected an 8.9 from IGN based on what I've seen ( and I wasn't far off!!!)

yes, I have played it. A friend of mine got it a week early and I got to play it for a couple of hours, also my sig has nothing to do with Borderlands (it has a story mode, even if you don't like the story it still has one).
