It's funny too because the guy reviewing it says how much he loves it and remembers playing it a few years back but then seems to give it kind of weak scores. Maybe it makes sense though because he says how it's a direct port and how it was great back when it came out but like now it's sort of a several year old game. ---Overall the review sort of makes me want to wait until it gets knocked down to 19.99...still 29.99 isn't too bad.

i loved crazy taxi at the arcade back in the day, but when GTA3 was released, its taxi sub game made this whole game genre of taxi missions to become kind of commonplace. 7.5 is still a good score, but means to me one would only like this gameplay again if they are looking for it specifically. The multiplayer features do seem intriguing though.
Okay so the reviewer gave the game a low score. They aren't allowed to bias a game due to how much they like it, how the public likes it and so on. They have to review the game on the things inside the game. It's like how so many people give instant 10's to their favourite games. Just like how God of War has probably 100%'s everywhere. It's pethetic really.
I see nothing wrong with giving a 10 to your favorite game...its you favorite for a reason. If you like it so much that there is nothing you can possibly find wrong with it, it deserves a 10 from you...that's reviewing the things inside the game from your standpoint. Everyone has a different standpoint though, so what may be a 10 to one person, may be a 5 to another just because some people don't enjoy certain games.
Not if you think your favorite game actually deserves a 10. To give your favorite game a lower score than you think it deserves because you don't want to seem biased is being biased in itself.
Well if it deserves a 10 because of the content, then that's different. But just giving it a 10 because it's your favourite is just plain out bias.

yeah i agree. Not even my absolute favorite game FFTA i would give a 10. Yes i would give it a 10 in enjoyment, but there are still aspects of the game that i myself would knock it down a couple of tenths, maybe to like a 9.6. I think what everyone is confusing here isthe content of the game vs. the enjoyment of the game. You might have enjoyed your favorite game so much that you would give it a 10 in enjoyment, but not every game is perfect, and i gaurentee you that there is something in your favorite game that you would change, even if its the smallest error/etc.
