Well, that's quicker than usual:P
excellent review by IGN -- the game looks great.
As for Gamespots review -- i expect their review to take a little while. Afterall how much content in the game should the review see? Im sure whoever review LBP will need to play online to truely experience how amazing the game is !

Thats actually incorrect. It comes out in 3 Years.
Yeah and when they do they will probably give it a 5.0...and they would say if it were on xbox it would probably be worthy of a 10

Dude you ruined it - that's not even remotely funny or true. :|
They will give it a 5 because there are too many levels to pick from just like when they gave Ratchet and Clank a 7.5 because there was too much gameplay variety.

"The Bad
There's a lot more to Tools of Destruction than platform jumping and shooting--perhaps too much. There are so many different gameplay mechanics that you get the sense that the developer didn't say "no" to any idea that was presented during the design process. Some of these mechanics add to the experience, but others feel as if they're here just because they could be. On a few occasions, Ratchet will roll around in a gyroball similar to the Super Monkey Ball series. To open certain doors, he'll have to dress as a pirate and do a brief dancing minigame. There are two or three times when you'll have to jump into the water and swim through mine-laden tunnels to get somewhere. Sometimes Ratchet will hop on rails and grind his way across a level while jumping gaps, and dodging trains and missiles as he goes. Every now and then, when you're flying to another planet, you'll actually have to fly your spaceship and shoot down enemies in brief, not-all-that-fun on-rails Star Fox-like sequences.
All of this, and we haven't even gotten to the Sixaxis stuff yet. Early on in the game, Clank learns he can sprout wings, so there are a few times when you'll fly around levels while tilting the controller to steer. It's kind of fun, but ultimately pointless. Ratchet can also cut through some surfaces with a laser that you control by twisting the controller, and he can even hack security systems with motion controls by rolling a ball around and conducting electricity. Lest we forget, there are a few times when Clank goes solo. These situations are more puzzle- and platforming-oriented than Ratchet's, and you'll have to use the zoni aliens to help repair items and manipulate bridges. They say variety is the spice of life, but there's such a thing as too much spice."
Now what were you saying about my statement not being true??? :?
I wasn't aiming for humor - it wasn't funny, but certainly true.
Next time get your facts straight kweeni. ;)

Dissapointing, but we persevere.
Disappointing? Not at the least...
i playedthe beta and didnt like it all the much.
it was fun but not that fun.
i dont know if im buying it.
Stop saying that 9.5 is dissapointing! It's people like that that make Tekken 6 going multiplatform seem like the end of the PS3.
I was going to start this thread too but I feared that it would get locked.
The mods have already made a sticky on this and you may face suspension, or point loss, so just a warning.

He shouldn't .. but again will probably have wrong information and you'll be there to put him in his place ..
i dont think GS is necessarily paid off but biased certainly. Considering how many games on the ps3 side are usually 1.5-2 points lower than the reader and press average it gets kinda suspicious. to me at least. also IGN's reviews are much more well written. but i also wholeheartedly believe that anyone complaining about this not getting a 10 is just as bad as all the nintendo fanboys who were rabid that twilight princess didnt get a 10 back in the day. Not every game you like is perfect, but hell a 9.5 is a superb score.Good score
I'm laughing at all the people complaining that GS is biased and that MS pays them off.
pyromaniac223
Hey, don't get me started on that contradicting review of Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction. I have no problem with the actual score (Sorry fanboy-callers.), HOWEVER, you don't give a preschool (Modding pending) reason why it's a 7.5.
Too Easy? Too much variety? Really now? My reasons would've been far better.
