Oh yeah. 2008 should be the best year for PS3. Q4 should give the push to get the ball rolling, then '08 to keep it rolling. I really don't care what system is better than what (not an 8 year old kid) but I do want the system I bought/invested a load of money in to succeed. (as in, more great games in the future like the success of PS2)
Sure there are some amazing titles coming in 2008 and the ps3 willfinally have a decent game library,mabey it will be enough to dramatically increase sales. I would love to see what happens if the ps3and 360 sales were neck and neck:D
MGS4 will definately be a system seller in my opinion! As for the others, they're all (good) sequels, minus LittleBigPlanet, which I'm really excited about. So original.
PS: I know MGS4 is a sequel, but a really original one:-)
Do you guys worry that Sony's line up might suck? I mean, it's great that they are all new franchises, HS, Uncharted, Littlebigplanet, etc... but do you guys worry they might "Lair" on us? I mean, I thought Lair was going to define the PS3, but instead, all it did was make it look bad. Especially with Killzone 2... they're hyping it up almost like Halo, but at the same time, why super hype a sequel to a game that wasnt super great in the first place? If KZ2 is going to suck, then what is the great glory game the PS3 is waiting for? I just feel like if some of these games suck, much like Lair, alot of what Sony has going for them might downward spiral.

not really but if any more big titles flop like Lair then i am going to start biteing my nails
i kinda agree, HS wasnt the AAA title everyone claimed it to be, LAIR flopped hardcore. Killzone 1 wasnt that good, so im not sure why everyones so hyped KZ2. sure MGS4 will be good, but im sure it wont single handedly save the PS3..
no offence but the big ball mover will be ff13 concidering it has more impact than any of the other games with "final fantasy" in it...also it has imho the best graphics of all so far
