Im a Just a Noob Or Is uncharted Hard?

I decided to play the Uncharted Demo a while back, because I was told it was one of the Greatest Ps3 Xclusives.

So I started it up On hard, Expecting to have a Simple Experience. No, I got totally Owned and Quit.

I rebooted it once again, On Normal, and Again got Owned.

Tonight I played One Last Time On Normal, and Again I died. I got to the part where there is a large amount of enemys that come in Rounds. Is Uncharted supposed to be hard Or Am I just a Noob and Should Try Easy?

It's not that hard a game once you get the hang of it. There are plenty of little things to shoot at (explosive barrels, etc) to help out in the more difficult places. Try it on easy first if normal is a bit much. Once you get the hang of learning how to use cover, taking a few shots, duck again, you'll get into the groove.

The game definitely has a few challenging sections, but for the most part it's pretty easy. You probably just need to get used to the gameplay.haze_blaze

I had the same problem..mostly because the enemies are tough to put down. I swear to God, I saw an enemy dodge a headshot once. I kid you not. DethSkematik

you just got to get use to the game, but there are a few trouble parts in the game..

play on easy first, then when you play on normal or hard you will know what to expect and how to handle it..

i don't think that it is hard just annoying is all everytime you turn the corner you always hear, "shoot to kill!" or any other of their war cries. But i am beating a the game again for the third time and i can say it is not hard just annoying

You have to play the game a particular way to do well. Run N Gun won't work too well on there

Not too rough once you get into the groove of things. A big part of it is knowing which enemies pose the greatest immediate threat and killing them first. Practicing the head-shot is also very helpful.

The AI is actually pretty clever during that part in the Demo

Those foes even try to flank you from time to time, brilliant!

Up to normal difficulty level you should be fine. You can't run and gun in this game, a lot of time is spent in cover.

I have finished the game on Hard and above statement is a golden rule, you also need to get good at aiming as well.

As for Crushing, well I'm about half a way through and It's freaking tough alright.. Enemies won't wait for you, they will corner, grenade and rush you in numbers and fearlessly. You have to move around cover and start getting those head-shots. :)

Uncharted is superbly balanced.

I played the game on hard in my first playthrough and I thought t was pretty easy, if you exclude the fourth chapter. On crushing I was stuck in the fourth chapter again, but the rest of the game was kinda easy. If you consider that uncharted and resident evil 5 are the only games I've beaten in the hardest difficulty, then you realize that it's not so hard once you get used to it.

It took me a bit of time to get used to the controls, and while there are some tough sections where there seem to be a lot on enermies, it went through quickly and easily on the normal difficulty. And I'm not the best shooter.

I got Uncharted today too, and i set it to hard and its not that difficult, but Uncharted 2 multiplayer is hard :x

Well on hard the game's hard, ok... :P

In crusher? That thing is almost impossible! I finished it anyway for the gold throphy but it took me like 100 deaths per stage.

But if you say that you can't even beat the demo on normal then you're a n00b, but you'll get used to the pace sooner or later, you just need some practice. :lol:

I actually trained my girlfriend at this game and she is halfway on her HARD playthrew and she is not a gamer, so what I'm trying to say is with a bit of practice it becomes pretty easy, on Crushing mode however, some sections are tough though, myself I got the Platinum recently :)

But no fort everybody, mine is still freazing and it is getting really hard to play some games online(like Marvel vs Capcom 2 for example). The funny thing is that I never experinced any of these problems with 3.00... But now it is too late, I already have the 3.01 installed. :?

The only time I felt this games difficulty being almost insane was at the last level on Crushing. It took me almost an hour to get through it, but I learned to aim quicker and more accurately. I'm happy I finished the game and earned my platinum trophy. lol

Uncharted is not that much hard. And there is no matter of to be noob or something else.

uncharted is hard at times, but you need to get used to the gameplay to pwn!

Yeah, I agree with that. Totally a more and run and gun gameplay in the U2 mulitplayer mode. Can't really hide for too long like Uncharted Campaign as the good ones always outflank you. I like to hide and snipe peopele but that only works for a sec.

All games tend to have a learning curve and some are very hard at first. I remember the last mission of Socom 1 took me a couple of months to get through that single simple mission. I found a way of beating that map in about 2 minutes without fireing a single shot but killing the 2 targets along with 3 or 4 more bad guys. Just keep trying until you find the trick of beating any game (they all have some kind of trick that works everytime).jimm895

There were a few parts that were tough for me, but mostly I found the gameplay fairly forgiving, especially in the platforming sections (no turning around 180 and jumping into pits like in Tomb Raider for me :p). But you do have to take advantage of cover as much as you can in the shooting portions. Well, except for towards the end. I think I shot and ran at that point.

You really need to make good use of cover to survive, even on the lower difficulties.
