Get either a USB Device to you know, move it there if you have the space, or if you want to move it to a cd. I also heard that you can make some server from Windows Media Player and stream music (and I think movies) directly from you PC to PS3.
You can use Memory Stick or a USB Flashdrive to transfer your movies from your PC to your PS3. You can also stream your files such as movies, music, and photos from your PC to your PS3.
Be aware that not all video file types will play on PS3, but they can be converted with appropriate software program like PS3Video9.

I find the best way to transfer videos from a PC to a PS3 is to copy them onto either a USB memory stick or onto a Compact Flash memory card.
All you need to do is copy your films from your PC onto your MS or CF, then insert the CF or MS into the appropriate place on the PS3 and you should have access to them.
You will need quite a large MS or CF card though as films tend to be quite large and the PS3 doesn't like all of the Divx codecs.
