Stay a lot in Training mode and try the missions as well. That's what I did. :)

Practise. If I played Marvel Vs Capcom 3 I'd be absolute trash at that game. Until the 3rd day when I gotten a feel for the controls. Fighting games have a learning curve to them. I'm alright at them. But not on the first day.

Start with one character and learn how to do all their moves, then learn some of their simplier combos, and then learn how to combo into your specials. Mission is a good start for doing all of this, but you need to spend time in training room trying these things out.

Once you have that down for one character, do it for another. Keep doing that until you have a team that works for you. I think a mistake people make is trying to learn 3 characters at once.

truth is, you will never be as good as someone playing with an arcade stick. In my opinion, getting an arcade stick will make the game more enjoyable and easier to learn. I had never used an arcade stick on a console until now. and i can tell you that if it wasn't for it, i would've given up on the game already.

Thank Jah I'm not alone!

:D

It's a very, VERY "upper-echelon" fight game. I've been playing fight games since "Streets of Rage" and "Qui Yar Kung Fu", but this game makes my boggle. Still fun tho, keep with it. You'll get better.

Not true, even though using a stick can make execution easier it doesnt teach you the theory behind the game.

Do most of the really good players use sticks? Of course, but thats not the only reason they are good at the game.

You can only get good with practice. To a point where you can predict your opponents actions and adapt accordingly. You should learn your characters moves inside and out so you know what to do beforehand. Anyone that can premeditate the entire fight DURING the fight will be tough to beat if they know what they're doing.

am a fighting games elite her is my tips to be a good player:

1-go to practice mode take a deep breath and start by learning how to dash and air dash in a blink of an eye speed

2-take a deep breath again concetreat and try to do the special moves animation the half circle and the quarter circle the dragon punch

3-go to challenge mode and try the first combos see how the combos connect the attack together (sorry cant tell u much sense i dont own MvC3)

4-ok now go to the practice mode but the cpu at an easy diffculty after a while go to normal diffculty and waste a lot of time fighting him with all what u learned

5-ok now put a low diffculty level and try to end the game

well see after a week of playing u should be waaaay so good at that time
