Im getting a PS3 soon, but...

Im going to be getting a ps3 within the next month, but is it worth it, i have heard a lot of speculation that this will be the PS3's last year, is this true ? I hope it is just speculation because i really want a PS3 to play Killzone 2 and watch Blu Rays, any replys would be great

First off welcome to the darkside however I haven't heard anything about this being the PS3's last year.

Oh yeah one massive tip if you have a HD TV then get a HDMI cable as well the games and blu rays will look incredable :)

Yeah I think whoever told you that this is the PS3 last year, didnt know what they were talking about... Anyways I was in the same boat as you and I am glad I made the purchase... My wife got it for me for Xmas and I love it... I actually have been playing it way more than my 360... Anyways hope you make the purchase and hope you enjoy it as well...

PS like stated above get the HDMI cables....

PPS Get them from Ebay a lot cheaper than the stores....

I have played socom round a friends, not really my sort of game really , it was good though, i have my bluetooth headset already aswell , just need this console now haha

lol...The PS3's last year you say..?? Just because the PS3 is slightly behind in console sales doesn't mean that it is going under. People seem to forget that the "OTHER" system(in which I own also) had a years head start. I know that statement has been worn-out but it has made a differents.

The ps3 is going to last longer than 360, that in itself is worth the buy.
