Im gonna get "hack deleted"?

Ok, so I was playin mw2 and gotta nuke, afterwards my hackr friend says DUDE I WAS2 AWAY FROM A NUKE! IM GUNNA HACK DELETE YOU. Is this posssbile or is he just a 3 yr old? If it is possbile, wut shud i do? I deleted him so far.

I don't believe anyone who threatens me with a hack. You shouldn't worry at all.

And for him sending you that as a message you could get his account blocked I think if you file a complaint to Sony. I wouldn't know though. Im just assuming you could do this...

You simply ignore and move on. Anyone can claim to be a hacker on the internet and if you are going to be hacked it certainly wont be by some angry newb that can't even spell.

I've heard MW2 is somewhat glitchy and there are a lot of exploits. Your friend probably took advantage exploiting the game some how. Actually why even call him your friend lol.

I dont think Sony can do something about it since the guy own a PS3 he has the right to use the online comunity even if he say stuff like that, thats why they put the "ignore player" in the option, Sony will block his messages from getting into is mail, I have few people on my black list lol

i have a friend that has a hack for everything. i bet he even knows hacks nobody else does. and he can hack into my account sometimes and change my comment or avatar or even talk to me through my mic. all as a joke tho. but im not sure he can delete you. since you yourself cant delete your account, only psn/sony can. and the chances of this guy hacking into sony's main system or w/e and deleting your account is 1) next to impossible 2) more work than i think this guy is gonna put forth 3) riskier than its worth to delete you for something as small as beating you to a nuke. ignore him. delete him off your friends list, and forget it ever happened.

The great majority of people who claim to be hackers are lying and don't know the first thing about hacking anything. And one thing for sure is that any legitimate hacker is not going to be playing MW2 and threatening others with "teh hackz." I am willing to lay money on the fact that your "friend" is very young and has no clue of what he is talking about.albatrossdrums

Best bet is to NOT give personal info about yourself out, no matter how nice you think someone is (give them info that's a little off from the real info). I get threatened almost daily on LIVE with comments like "wait you bum, I'm gonna hack your account" it never has and never will happen. I usually tell the person to make sure he hacks it before dinner time. You'll be fine..just laugh it off as another elementary threat that will never come to see the light-of-day-of -happening!
