im having a lot of problems with R6: V

when i play multiplayer online......theres a lot of lag....and i dont know if its my routor being too far...or just the host is too far

and also theres like a gun sound lag....if someone fires a shoot it lasts like 30 seconds ...sooo annoying

anyone else hav the same problems?

I have had these issues, and i am in the process of going to a Wired Connection, rather than using wireless, im hoping that helps stabalize my connection...

I have a wired connection and as to this date have never had any lag what-so-ever (I got the game on it's release date).

I have however had a lot of the bullet noise problem. It is annoying as hell. Another problem I have had is when dead and watching the other people play it seems a bit choppy. It isn't lag or anything, but I think it may be caused from having the game run in 1080i. I have a 1080p tv and have heard that you should force your ps3 to output this game in 720p becaue it runs smoother and looks better.

Any thoughts?

its not just you...its everyone. Hopefully they fix this at some time. Yesterday I got booted three times in the first hour but after that I had no problems staying on or the sound. I think its just hit or miss. Its well worth it if you get a good server.boss130

Agreed. If you get in a good game with no lag its great, but like he said it's hit or miss.

yes, the game does look horrible in 1080i...change your settings to 720p, it looks so much better..i love the online, I have a wired connection, and hardly any lag, but my mic constantly disconnects, and there is so much noise from other people on there mic's..

Yes I have the same gun sound problem as I`m guessing everyone will have. The lagging I get only sometimes, but generally it runs fine. (apart from when there are a handful of people on the screen. the framerate drops to something like 1 frame a second) .. (compared to RFOM that really does suck!)
