I'm hesitant about buying Qore

I'm thinking about getting the annual Qore subscription, but I've heard that it's just news that get outdated quick and the exclusive betas and demos aren't a big deal. Although, it seems that if i don't buy the subscription, then I will be missing out on all the exclusive content. All I'm asking is if you guys can tell me what Qore is like and if it's worth it. I'll be grateful for all the polite responses.

I bought it and enjoyed the layout and content. It's really not that expensive, especially considering you get a $10 game if you buy the annual. I thought it was worth it but that's just me.emitsu97

You have the option of either buying an episode or buy an annual subscripiton that lasts for a whole year (which has like 13 episodes).

You can get in on the beta just going with the single issue (once the beta signup is available)- if you do decide to get it, keep hold of the issue and keep checking back (or wait for Sony's official word on their blog).

Overall i think it's worth it- you get some videos on games that otherwise may not have been coming into the PlayStation Store (Afro Samurai as an example) along with stuff about the games directly from the dev teams. I liken this with the stuff that would have been on the original US PlayStation magazine DVDs when they were on the go (for those that may say "they were free", they weren't- why else was the mag so expensive each month? The DVD cost was hidden in there).

Hmm, I haven't bought it yet, but I suppose I might download a few eps here and there if something catches my eyes. I go ahead and even download the 1st ep--since I think it mention something about Soul Calibur 4 and Star Wars: Force Unleased....so that's got me interested.

Personally, I'd just say buy one ep and if you're not feelin' it then it's only 3 bucks you lost--don't jump too soon into a subscription unless you really like it, tho.
