Well just make sure you buy a decent mem stick with your PSP - and consider brew - you wont look back ;)
Checking out local traders or 'pawn shops' usually is a good source for 2nd hand PSP's. Just make sure there is a 30 day return policy - or somthing similar (theres one at CC in Aus), just in case your PSP is r00ted. Happy hunting. :)
If you dont mind a bundle check your local fry's store. They usually have a bundle of a core system, 3 games and 5 umd movies for $270. http://newspaperads.mercurynews.com/ROP/ads.aspx?advid=32664&adid=4152050&subid=15125321&type= . They mix the games and movies up every week so you can wait until there is a bundle you like.

Ebay for the cheapest. I bought my current one from there and I bought it under 100 pounds with a 2gb card, around 4-5 games, boxed with a few accessories. For the best results, use ebay.
i'd offer mine cheap, but im gonna mod it first. i got c*st*m F*rmw*r* on it, but the circle button is stuck, so i hafta replace the circuit board and fix it. then put in sound reactive led's in the triggers. if ur still by some freak chance lookin for one when im done tho lol, p.m. me
