Im Scared Of COD4

the only game i own right now i play online for my ps3 is rainbow six vegas. now, wen i play the game, and idk if this is just me, it just seems SO MUXH UGLIER than the single player. idk if its my tv or what. (1080i support)and i see all these great looking multi palyer vids of COD4 and the game looks amazing, but i feel like it wont look good for some reason. should i be worried?adam_53

do you really need to compare the graphics for COD4 and vegas? call of duty 4 obviously look way better and makes vegas look like a pool of mud.

CoD 4 is a thing of beauty and it is very addictive

i was also scared of buying cod4 even when the reviews were all great. i know the single player and graphics and of course authentic sounds are great. i wasnt sure about the online and how it is so fast paced and you die really fast but... when i first got my hands on it and played online,i thought it was fun but not so impressed. after i started getting better though, i freaking love it. the gameplay is awesome. the level system is sweet. and the challenges, weapon challenges, new weapons, and perks are so fun to do. im doing prestige mode too when i get to level 55, then you can do the challenges again and have loads of fun!!!!!!!!!!!buehler_evan

speaking of challanges, man are these getting harder and harder or what? It's really hard to rank up now, it takes like 1 rank up per day. When I first got COD4 and played online the first week I was ranking like 4 to 5 times a day(Keep getting the 1st or second) but now despite my skills online it's taking longer, and are the sniper rifles in this game so DAMN annoying or is it just me??? have you completed any of the sniper rifles challanges?

man theres no comparison between both games. COD4 IS WAAAAAAAAAAAY BETTER. .I didnt like multiplayer before but since i played it I cant stop playing. Gameplay is extremely fun. Vegas its a piece of sh.t compared with this game.

Every level you need more experience than the previous to level up. I wouldn't worry about challenges unless you just want the bonus exp, because once you get past lvl 55 on prestige mode you lose EVERYTHING (except your kills and rank score)

I'm currently 39 and very close to get to 40 if challanges AK-74u Marksman III and G36C Marksman II are completed. I need the BONUS XP points to rank up even faster because I want to unlock the GOLD Desert Eagle!

The graphics are Amazing On-Line (As well as Single Player Campaign ofcourse). It is intense and addictive, I played Vegas Online, you really can't compare the two in terms of look - COD4 owns.

I to got the overkill perk today, haven't used it yet as my stealth setup is rocking.

I'm up to level 32 now. I like the sniper rifles, I must be alone cuz alot of other people seem to be having trouble.

LOL, Call of Duty 4 was my deciding point to get a PS3. Played a couple of rounds at a friends house online, and loved it and knew that the PS3 was good, plus it was easier to convince me mum to get me a PS3 somehow.

I like how it feels somewhat cinematic, the online play because it looks so good and the combat feels refined.

You just have to do search and destroy...be a bit sneaky and you'll get 11kills per round, and if you plant or defuse a bomb or two you'll be getting 1000xp or so per round..and yea the sniper rifles are annoying...almost impossible to get a hit when people are moving. I did get the .50 Barrett 100kill challenge...the scope is TERRIBLE...I just hate random frag throwers and when people are moving around with guns(Not the mini guns of course, that is realistic.)
