I have a gut feeling that people who buy the 60 GB will be screwed over, like the 80 GB will come with much more features.

I have a bad feeling the 60GB will not be able to have rumble, and the 80GB will.....

I think 80 GB will be able to play ps2 games in 720 or 1080 because of software emulation

I think its possible rumble might be included in 80 GB box

THOUGHTS?

1. no

2. firmward update can make rumble possible so no worry

3. 60GB can already upscale PS2/1 and DVD's to higher resolutions

4. Rumble probably wont be announced within the next few weeks which is when 80gb is supposed to come out (August)

All PS2 and PSX games can be played in 1080p.

Get the PS3 now, or wait for the 60gb to be phased out; there will be a price drop on the 80gb.

the 80gb has the same features as the 60gb, rumble can come if you buy a second controller later, and why not just get it now? You can spare the wait. It's not really that big of a difference

Dont worry about it dude, the features are exactly the same. The only difference is the amount of harddrive space. But dont forget you can update the harddrive yourself later on if you need to!

The 60 gig version still has the EE chip in it where when the 80 gig version comes out it will be using emulator software instead. So really the 60 gig version you will be getting a little more hardware that will soon be history forever.

If I had the choice between the 60 GB and the 80 GB I would select the 60 GB. The two consoles are IDENTICAL except the 80 GB has 20 gig's more which is nothing and it includes MotorStorm. Also the 60 GB still has the EE chip, and thats a huge plus.

Dude, the only difference between the 2 is 20GB and $100. The 60GB model also upscales PS1/PS2 games and DVDsup to 1080p. And rumble thing I'm sure its nothing a firmware update can fix. Besides it hasnt been confirmed whether the 80GB will come with the rumble-enabled controller or not so chill out :)
