It should take 12 to 15 hours to beat and if you find all the treasures it could take much longer than that.wooooode12-15 hours!? I have been playing for about 2 hours and 35 minutes and am already 30% done.

12-15?!?! ARE YOU LOST?!!? I beat the game in a shade under 8 hours!

Well, when you went Easter Egg hunting, how long did it take you to find everything? Game was really good, It was a awesome game.
rent the game, problem solved.
BTW: I love the game and the way it ended. It took me about 10 hours and I found about 40 of the treaures.
Well, i have nearly 40 hours into this games. Beaten it three times, on normal, hard and crushing, and i also have found all the treasures.
Don't be affraid, you'll realise that you'll need to beat this game more than once, not because you want all treasures or something else, but because the game kind of compels you to do so. It's hard to explain.
It took me about 12 hours on hard, and I'm making my way through Crushing now, and it looks like its going to take at least 15 hours.
After that, I plan on going back and finding all 61 treasures, and earning all 47 medals.
Then, I'm going to enjoy the rewards (slow-motion, weapon choice, unlimited ammo, costumes, art galleries, making-of vids)
I'm probably going to play the levels in reverse, and then backwards (there's a reward that flips the level, and one that gives you a mirror image of the level). That means there are four different ways to approach each level 1) normal, 2) mirror image, 3) flipped, and 4) mirror image + flipped. Each one feels different and gives you a new experience when you play the game.
Space these steps out a little to avoid overplaying the game (if overplaying Uncharted is possible :P), and this game should last you at least a good month or so.
There are 22 Chapters in Uncharted, so gauge yourself accordingly. Also, I just got my Dual Shock 3 controller in last night and it makes Uncharted soooooo much better. (Super Stardust HD is great with it too)
There's more to Uncharted than just beating the game. Try to get all the treasures and unlock everything with headshots and such.
easy way to make it last longer
play it on hard ;)

isn't that normally what people start out on? i mean, super sissy mode, and sissy mode is pathetic imo. you pay $60 (well $80something here, and we don't whine about prices. amazing right) for a game, and you slap it on Sissy Mode and you're gonne be done in one sitting. that's just wrong. people might as well buy Hello Kitty Island or a My Little Pony game

Some people find what you call the "sissy" mode challenging enough to merit a playthrough (I'm one of them)...
IMO ur bordering on being condescending here... which aint good

Take your time and make sure you find all the Treasures and get all the awards. The game is plenty long IF people play the entire game instead of just shorthanding it. That is the players fault if they find it short yet finish with only half of what is actually in the game. Also play it on Hard is always the best way to enjoy this game.

i have to agree. some people like playing through a normal mode. I started on normal then went on to hard. Getting ready to start crushing. Usually, the ones who talk down to others about stuff like this are the ones trying to compensate for something else.Uncharted short? I didn't feel it was to me.
I finished the game about week ago and clocked 11hours on Normal difficulty with 51 out of 60 medals.
After that i spent a good hour enjoying the bonus features, videos, artwork.
I'm still playing it today, replaying chapters for medals and just plain having fun. It's a fantastic game. Just like Heavenly Sword was, Uncharted is on my home shelve because it deserves no less.
Definitely worth buying.

But I still enjoy the games the same so that's ok :).

Uh, it's common for people to start out on Normal mode so for you to call it "sissy mode" is pretty childish.

I know how to read... whether its your opinion or not, calling normal mode "sissy mode" is just being ignorant.

true and you should also learn that this is GameSPOT not gamestop
i would think you would know that since you so gloriously know what IMO is an abbreviation for
Okay, what the heck does Gamestop have to do with anything?

rofl. what a bunch of girls it was clearly a typo. man you kids are picky  but trust me. there are places where people are more mature, like the EG forums. not that any of you would know that. but the fact that i can't tell what i think without people crying over it because they feel offended. is childish. But then again, if anyone took my opinion personally.. then i might have hit a weakspot and it might actually be true. But it wasn't out to offend anyone, and i did say i'm sorry if i did. but then again, you kids will always be kids :) But this is the internet, stop being offended by people you don't know. it's not like people online care about eachother. and with that, i'll leave you kids alone.
Uncharted is a short game but its worth the money. You get a lot of cool unlockables/ achievements to discover, a ten to twelve hour story, great gameplay and amazing graphics. You'll beat it more than once and all in all you will probably have at least 20 hours if you really want to complete the game.
