I'm sick of people saying the PSP doesn't have any good games...

To be honest i have about 20 games on my PSP and i enjoy playing them all. For some reason i'm very addicted to Virtua Tennis on my PSP and GTA VC even though i've played it all the time years ago. I loved playing Sid Meier's Pirates and Killzone Liberation game and thought Burnout was very very kool for a handheld racer. MGS Portable ops was really great too and the Multiplayer was really really kool on it. Tekken 5 on the PSP is probably my fave game on the PSP because it's soooo polished an better than the PS2 version too, also everyone loves beat em ups so that game often gets handed around a few times when i'm out. I loved playing Daxter aswel and it was a nice first game i bought for the PSP Syphon Filter was also great after it vanished since the PS1. I love playing Socom games altho it's better one PS2 for online but still a top game.

I've listed sooo many games there that i really liked playing and i'm looking forward to Aliens vs Predator (if its like the original PC games) and God of War for the PSP will be AMAZING cause i don't own a PS2 and never had a chance to play the originals. Also looking forward to some Final Fantasy games though i hope they bring the original FF7 PS1 game to PSP.


So it's like all i hear is buy a DS and not a PSP but why? I can't find one good game on that handheld that isn't for some gimmick to do with the touch screen or for kids. It's like what choices do i have on the DS? Pokemon? Nintendogs? Some Zelda game i've played a million times before? Mario? Some puzzle games.......... Sounds like a right boring time for me and i personally think the PSP has much better games.

If i really wanted to i'd just download a Gameboy emulator for my PSP and play all the gameboy games (apart from DS) anyways.

+I can watch movies and listen to Music on my PSP and do other kool stuff that alright i wont do all the time but it comes in handy.

Monster Hunter Freedom is the ONLY reason why I got a PSP, and I say got because I did not buy it, it was a gift so that makes it a lot easier for me. BUT there are other games that make it totally worth it! They might not be out yet but whatever, Monster Hunter Freedom 2, Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core, Final Fantasy Dissidia, and uhhh... I can't think of anymore. I think the whole playing movies and music on your PSP is totally stupid. I'll watch a movie on my TV and I would be to scared to carry my bulky PSP around just to listen to music. The screen is to big and exposed, it could get cracked or scratched or something bad... or stolen.

I suppose it's because PSP lacks a real original killer apt. Sure, we have Metal Gear Solid, Grand theft Auto and God of War and Final Fantasy are coming real soon.. But they are not original and players can find a similar experiance elsewhere. PSP needs a game that will be automaticly sided with thehandheld itself and vice versa.. A real million seller..For example.. If someone says Xbox, I'm sure majority of people automaticly thinks of Halo. Now, if we want to talk about PSP's rival, the DS, it doesn't have this problem simply because Nintedo owns so many million sellings franchises that it wouldn't become a problem if they stopped making original games series. But they dont.. DS has mind games, Nintendogs etc.

And I know that some of you now think "But Portable Ops is a great game! Definetly a killer apt if you ask me!" or something similar.. Sadly, as brilliant as some of PSP games are, not many of them actually makes people buy the PSP itself.

Well.. Thats my two cents.

the original games on the psp i think of are mostly the puzzle and rpg games. field commander is original game..i think.

I'm deciding to buy a PSP or a DS for a while now.

On the DS, it has nintendogs, which is the title I REALLY want to play. And it has Advanced War Dual Strike. And ... that's about it for a serious gamer like me.

On PSP, it has Joan of Arc, (I'm a big fan of Joan of Arc, and the game got rated on IGN for 9.0!) it has Metal Gear, it has daxter, it has Ratchet, and Killzone, and... a lot more.

So it seems that the winner is the PSP!

But sadly, my wife, my girlfriends all want a DS. Why? Because they aren't serious gamers! All they want is some cute dudes running around with an easy to use stylus.

So in the end, I'm now saving money to buy both.

I also looked up on the scores of all the best games in PSP and DS on gamespot. And guess what? PSP and DS have the same highest score and about the same number of games scored over 8.0! So how can poeple say there's no good games for PSP? Gamespot surely thinks they have equal amount of good games!

That and Jeanne D'Arc both are good games, just Jeanne D'Arc needs to come out sooner.

Dual Screen (Which sucks..) and all the Nintendo games, nothing else.
