I'm practically begging to be flamed for making this thread... but my impressions on UT3 were pretty horrid for my first Unreal Tournament Game. So far, I have only played Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch online, and had an extremely terrible experience. Lag, small selection of guns, low customization, no co-op whatsoever (No 2 players can play on a single console, with each other 1 on 1 nor split screen online), campaign consisting of simple deathmatches (no actual campaign) all come together to add up to one big waste of 70 $ IMO of course...
This is just my two cents.
You guys think this is just because of several 'coinky dinks'? (bad internet, wrong selection of match types) Or is this just not my type of game. Or do other people have this opinion.

Emm? I doubt you really played UT :/ at leat not on PC... Beside Quake II/HL at the time UT is the only other game that can hold their own for the online slaughter feast. If you are playing the console version then I am sorry to hear you are trying to compare a watered down baby version to what was the start of a new FPS dynasty on PC.
UT3 on PC is lacking compare to the content of UT2k4, and with the same type of gameplay doomed UT3 from being a faithful update to the original (graphic isn't everything....) Epic's content pack usually makes game just so much better though so I am keeping my fingers crossed.
[QUOTE="Luxen90"]You really should have read about the other UT games first. Also the best thing about UT3 is the mods people can actually change the story mode and everything on UT.gamenux
UT has always been about the mods.
actually, Quake/HL's about mod.. UT's got some good mod but none really stand out more then the game itself. Map creation for this game though is where it shines.
