It's Sony's, Microsoft's and Capcom's fault. Sony's fault is that they should have tried hard as hell to nail this down as a PS3 exclusive, Microsoft's problem is that they can't give up trying to buy off Capcom so they're giving more and more money for their games to eventually convince Capcom to come under them, and Capcom's fault for being little bi***es.
i started wishing i got an xbox 360 instead of camping out for a ps3 once they delayed rainbow six vegas for the 5th time, plus the better games. this is coming from a ps3 owner so dont rant at me for being a fanboy..
I'll gain faith when Sony actually does something good for us. I'm really getting ticked off. What a huge update 1.6 is going to be. Background downloading and that phone@home thing. (Sarcasm)Â Sony is really letting me down.
Gee, this is getting idiotic now. It's still coming to ps3 so it's not like anyone lost the game... and dmc is far away from the heavy weights... the first one was the one that sold most and it sold 2.5m.. which is a lot but far from a FF, MGS, halo etc. Second and third part sold about 1.5m each
Im not worried Im pissed. I already have a 360 I got the ps3 for the hot exclusives they were supposed to be having. If every good game is going to be on the 360 also I wasted my money purchasing a ps3. Im sure every multiplat game will be better on the 360 due to live.  Sony was so caught up on how well the ps2 did that they took everything for granted.
Metal Gear Solid can't be played on the 360. It's rumored that they requested to use a 50 GB blu-ray disc because it is already too big for the 25 GB. The DVD's the 360 use's dosen't store as much. Therefore not being able to play MGS.
Im going to go get my ps3 in a week .  i was gona get a new pc first and wait for summer till i got a ps3 , all this bad news makes me strangely attracted to that sexy sleek thang.  I dont understand why but I am suddenly feeling like i must have it. Strange thought to was to collect  all the underated games  especialy untold legends: dark kingdom.Â
yea, but capcom said the same thing with DMC4. They said it would be optimized for the ps3 and would be hard to port over to other systems. Only reason i can come up with is they want money.

never fear, we still got gran turismo, ratchet and clank, resistance, motostorm, god of war, kill zone, and i cant think of any more right now. as long as we keep faith, we shall not fail. all of the afore mentioned games will combine to take down our opponents. and remember: UNITED SE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL. lets all unite to take down our oppressors and win this war. and in 2 days 8 hours europe, aussie and nz will join the fight, and thats when we strike. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (yes i am crazy)
The PS3 just needs to get a few exclusive, AAA games that utilize the hardware in the PS3 to its full potential. That will bring devs back. Sony needs to focus on that, or just sit back and let MS and Nintendo bury them.
If Sony responds to this it should be really interesting to see what they say, but yeah this is definately another big blow to Sony. No one should try to kid themselves into thinking it's not.
Although it may seem like the beginning of the end for Sony, remember that many fanchises like DMC were born on the PS2. What's to say that more new franchises will begin on the PS3 to replace the ones they lost. A perfect example could be Heavenly Sword. But it certainly doesn't look good for this happening to Sony since there are quite a number of new exclusive games coming just for the 360 or 360 and PC like C&C Tiberium Wars and STALKER.

Im not worried , The most expensive console on the market always seems to have it rough. Its like High difficulty setting for sony this gen. Lets see what they can do. Honestly losing a round after 2 consecutive wins is not bad. 2 outa 3 wins in paper rock scissors is still a victory.Â

It seem's Capcom loves MONEY!!!!!!! If they release a game on more than one system they get more MONEY!!! (them greedy F*CK*RS!!!!!! LOL) That's what makes this world go around.
If there was anything that made me worry of the PS3's sucess its this one. Losing exclusives like Fatal Inertia and Bladestorm, weren't that big of a blow, but losing exclusives to one of our great franchises is a huge blow. Gamers who anticipated for the great third party exclusives that were on the PS3 are slipping away. Losing exclusives like DMC will give potential buyers a reason to buy the 360 instead of the PS3. If the PS3 does not take off, then that will affect future potential PS3 exclusives.

The whole disc argument limiting the ability of the 360 to play games is kinda weak. It would be very easy to have a multi-disc package much like Final Fantasy games in the past had, for example. Many games have been multi-disc. Or, they could allow an option to install a bunch of the game data on the hard drive to cut down or eliminate disc-swapping (especially with the new rumoured 100 Gig HDD). So it's not impossible just because it's more than 9 gigs. It would probably end up being maybe 2 or 3 discs which is not terribly unusual. It's not like you'd be swapping discs all the time anyways.
