Im thinking of buying a PS3 but i have some questions

I'm a current Xbox user but im thinking of trading it for a PS3 , but i have some questions :-

1-What are the packs available ( Price and bundled games)

2-What games should I get other than MGS4 and Resistance 2 ?

3-Does Playstaion Network has voice chat ?

4-Is Playstaion Network as laggy as some people say ?

1. Right now, i think only 80gb console, with a dual shock for $400 USD/CDN. Does not come with any games (you can find random deals at stores though where they throw a game in.. and does not have BC). I've heard they were gonna release a 160gb bundle with Uncharted, but that was like 5 months ago, and nothing since. It would be $500, and no BC.

2. Uncharted is amazing, if you can find it for $40 or less then you should. GT5P is also great, and has more content than most full priced games,, if you like racing games. I love LBP, but its maybe not for everyone.

3. what do you mean by voice chat? Yes, you can talk to people in game.

4. I've played both XBL and PSN on the same connection, and they run EXACTLY the same. The people you heard saying it was laggy are just trying to justify paying $50 a year for something that should be free.

1. It depends on the store

2. fallout 3 looks good, and COD:WAW doesn't look half bad either

4. Not from what i have seen ( It could also depend on your network connection, apparently resistance 2 has no lag whatsoever)

2- Uncharted, Warhawk, LBP, Valkyria Chronicles, Ratchet and Clank, Heavenly Sword, Wipeout HD, Motorstorm 1 & 2, SOCOM: Confrontation.

3- Yes, but not in-game. Sony are working on this though.

4- It's not laggy at all, I've never had any real problems with it. It has more games with dedicated servers than the 360 does.

I'm not sure why you say it only has 3-4 interesting titles, that's been nonsense for a very long time now.

huh?  every game I play online has voice chat.  Are you talking about chat room while playing a single player game?

So by your logic they both have two REALLY outstanding games and a bunch of great third party games. What's your point?

Not true. It DOES only have 3 or 4 interesting titles MGS4 being one of them. A pro Sony fan could NEVER seriously admit this.

huh?  every game I play online has voice chat.  Are you talking about chat room while playing a single player game?

What I mean is that it doesn't have cross-game chatting, like on the 360.

I dont find any of them interesting at all. LBP sounds ok, but im nt creative enough to fully enjoy it.

The only thing really going for the ps3 at the moment are sports games, I want more multiplayer titles.

CoD's, Assassins Creed, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Fallout3- all cross platform. He wants a reason to buy a PS3, which I'll agree only has a handful of interesting titles, but as you said so does Xbox 360. By "interesting" I think people refer to games with high marks because there's a number of games never mentioned. Although the 360 has a ton of games, how many are worthwhile? I'll admit for a person who wants choices, the 360 would be a viable option, but it's the PS exclusives that draw most people to PS3 (besides Bluray).

Do the right thing and stick to 360 if you're uninterested in the "3-4 interesting" PS3 exclusives.
