Alright i am officially done trying to get my stupid internet connection to work. How can i hook my ps3 up to a wired connection (like a standard desktop comp.) and still be able to play fully online?

Run an ethernet cable from your router to your PS3.

If you are having problems staying connected while online with the wireless option, try disabling the Media Server Connection in your network settings. That usually does the trick for many people having problems staying connected.

go to connection setting input your lan's infos... test it.. put password and ip if needed... it is quite easy :?
