Ok i been reading a few post now about they yellow light of doom or death. idk what you call it.

so it leads me wondering. all PS3 owners having this yellow light of doom. Please post how long did you have you PS3 be4fore that happened

like how many months you played with it before it bricked.

all of us? u must be gettin it the wrong way, i think that problem is not a problem at all, yellow is not death, it just means your hard drive is loose or your hard drive is bricked not your ps3, and since u can buy almost ANY laptop hdd and put it into your ps3 then u can solve the problem by yourself without voidin the warranty, since swappin hdd is suppórted by the warranty ;)

oh and i havent had any problems with my ps3 so far, i have had it since jan 07

yeah mate, as ANY electrical device you are bound to faliures but ps3 has a very low rate for that

Not only is this 'yellow light of doom' occurence very low, I have never had any problems with my PS3 at all. Not one.

I've had my PS3 for well over a year now and I haven't turned it off in months with no problems of any kind with any of the hardware, although there have been some glitches with some of the games software.
