I've just found out some bs that UT3 is coming out in the UK in march or something next year so i was wondering if i buy it online the american version or wherever will it be ok will it be fine i play with people on the american servers or would that mess up and stuff....basically if i get the game from ebay can i play it fine here online....
all ps3 games are region free, you can buy it from japan and it should work. the only thing that wont work is blu ray movies.
so any game from the us WILL work in the eu and thats a fact. 6 of the games i own have been imported from the us

Oh good to know. I figured the games would fall under the same codes as the movies. Weird. My oblivion has a 1 on the back but Folk's SOul has a 2 (funny thing is, Folk's SOul has a sticker on the back that says "for Japan only". clearly this was their intent.). I guess those are the regions of the games but not enforced or whatever.
I am in Canada so anyone in EU with an EU unit and Japanese/US games will be the expert here!

yea my us games all have a 1 on them but it doesnt make any difference.....well it does if you dont have a hdtv. i got my first us game and the sound didnt match up to the game because my tv was 1 of them big sd tv's but its fine now that i have a hd
