But then it creates a vicious circle. Let them rant and rave and if no one says anything then they get bored and stop. See how that works, but the only problem not everyone can see this so it will never die.
Why try and defend it, anything you say they count as un credible and vice versa.
Its always going to create a vicious circle because as you said not everyone can see this ignore strategy that you speak of and it seems clear to me that they dont get bored and stop because they enjoy what they do. We should defend it so that people on the fence get a balanced idea of both systems and not the constant lies about the PS3, which will hurt the system, we love. A vicious circle of balance is better than a circle of lies about the PS3.
I would like custom soundtracks as well. For instance, it would be nice to play madden and have my own music in the menu, and in the game when it plays music. That would be sweet.

If you really want to war with a bunch of lame fanboys, why do it here? All you are doing is degrading the quality of our threads and drawing in more trolls and Sony bashers. Take a "war" such as this to SW, not the ps3 board. ON THE TOPIC, I think that list just about sums up anything and everything that I think Sony should fix/implement for the ps3 and the psnp. The only thing up there that I have no clue as to what it is would be #2 about VGA support. Can anyone tell me what that is?

Only one thing PS3 is lacking as far as I'm concerned... Rumble. Other than that, it's pretty much got everything you need hardware wise. 360 fanboy's always rave about how good XBL is but aside from a few things $ony could add through system updates I don't see what makes XBL that great, you'd think that for the fee you get charged that games would run better online but as far as gaming goes XBL is just as lag ridden and glitchy as everything else if not more. Listen up $ony, I want you to jam a vibrator in my controller... stat. That will keep the multiple console owners from buying multiplatform games for other consoles ( aside from XBL acheivment whores ).
Another improvement I think should go on the list would relate to the psnp. I think the user information should be a little bit more in depth. For example, your profile could list what games you've played most often and some other user information. I'm a little wishy washy about an achievements system. It would be a nice thing for me to have to give me more to do in a game, but at the same time it would be a silly number that people judge your gaming ability upon. EDIT: Sony should also get the new HD eye toy on the market soon so people can video chat, or include support for webcams.
Why are 360 fanboys dropping comments on here first of all? This is a PS3 discussion. They just want any opportunity to gloat while Microsoft makes the same mistakes they did with the first ShooterBox.
Second, I'm sure Sony will adress these issues with updates. Right now they're debugging but I would guess by this summer we'll see some vast improvements to the interface.
Third, the ability to play music in game IS built into the system... just not enabled right now... for whatever reason... I read about that right after launch.
Fourth, it isn't the games you know about now that are going to make the PS3 what it will be in 2 years. Sure FF and MGS are going to be big hits, but don't forget that DMC, Onimusha, SofC, Devil Summoner, ect. ect. didn't exist before the PS2. There WILL be unexpected amazing games, Sony has done that with every system.
here's an improvement for all u guys. **** ps3 and get a 360....u kno the games that are out are soo much better on the 360..and the games that will come out are sooo much better. For example: halo 3 mass effect gears of war 2 and 3 bioshock huxley all are exclusives.. and much much more to come...and now that youve lost grand theft auto 4, and resident evil 5, and devil may cry 4 to the 360 and have only 2 exclusive games that are actually worth waiting for (Metal Gear Solid 4, and Final Fantasy) your starting to wonder why you bought you ps3...what good does the top of the line console do when there arnt any great games to play them on...and dont even let me bring up online services..Flyhye1014
Actually I bought it to be the first to play BluRay films, same reason I bought the PS2 to be the first to play DVD films. The games are just a bonus. Thats what I love about Sony they're always giving me a free game console to go with my media player.
I don't know if its possible, but I would love to see the ability to play multiplatform games online between the PS3 and Xbox360. Example: Play Madden07 online on your PS3 against a Xbox 360 owner. Unfortunatly that would be something we probably wouldn't see with these current gen consoles..
Also, the ability to play a games campaign with co-op online. Like invite someone to play campaign co-op from their PS3 and not having to come over to your house.
Also (once the PS Store actualy starts gettings some stuff that people would want (more demos, extra content for games like player skins or extra weapons)) I'd like to see an alternative to money to buy stuff. This would mean they would have to impliment some sort of "Achievements" system with points. And once a person gets enough points, those points can be used as money in the PS Store.
But besides that, the only thing I would want is the ability to put your game on standby and can access the XMB without quitting the game.
Updated. Some new requests were just branches off already ones added, so I edited around. VGA support is heavily asked by people who want to use their PC monitors that are non-HDCP (most monitors) with the PS3. Xbox 360 has it, the VGA cables, and they work great. It's only a matter of software, they just need to give us a video option for VGA.

Yes, but others would like them, of course. Games will come, with respect to time. :) I don't even have a game currently (getting resistance this weekend, had PS3 for a month).
I'd like to see an official plan that lets people trade in their 20gb for a 60gb as long as they pay the 100+ dollar difference. Though, this is more of an issue for retailers...

For a used 60GB? I don't think they'd give a new for a used. I'll wait for your reply until I add it.
I'd figure to get a new one would cost more than trading for a used one, but still for people to have the option to do so could be nice....
multitasking and i would love the option to chose if you want to autoload the game/movie or not like the psp. cause i hate it that i have to remove the cd everytime before i open it when i want to access the store or play music. background downloading also would be great and a better looking interface for the store.
