In a dilema... RSV2 or Dark Sector?

Dark Sector: great graphics, gameplay like Gears of war/ Resident Evil 4 (Great Combo IMO) But I hear it's going to be very short and I believe it... and online i'm not sure how much fun that will be or how much it will last... anyone Know of any replayability?

RSV2: great online play, and tons to keep you busy... but I played the last one when it came out...

Any advice, ideas, or info please post... and any cool videos of either I would like to watch!

Depends on what you're looking for. Something Different, Dark Sector it is.

Dark Sector. R6V2 is just a little prettier then the first nothing special :? but that is just my opinion. I would say the true question is...

A.Get a game that is a little short but you will most likely play again.

B.Waste $60 on a game you will most likely lose interest in within 2 hours or less (my opinion).

C.Get R6V1 for a cheaper price (39.99) and have some money left to hopefully use on Dark Sector :D.

I would go on what everyone else has to say, except the 2 people with dark sector avatars, theyre not gonna give you an unbiased opinion. I really like Rainbow Six Vegas 2, but DS looks promising as well. I would wait for DS to hit, and see the meta critic scores before buying either.hillelslovak

That's entirely untrue and to judge someone because of their excitement for a game, isn't right. If the TC asked me what game to buy, between Dark Sector and GTA IV, I'd say GTA IV. RSV2 is just a disappointment, which should be left on the shelves.

Not RV62 for sure, my friend just brought it over, and online the graphics are worse than the 1st, and the online is worst then the 1st, unable to connect to any room super lag, and if u connect you gotta wait what ever time is left so u can spawn, its not a get up and play online quick like CoD4 or the 1s R6V u gonna spend more time searching for a room than playing, Im so happy I passed on this game... The only thing I enjoyed was putting every1s face on a seal with the cam....!!!Raijinko

If I remember correctly, COD 4 not play online quick when it first came out. There was terrible online problems for a loooong time.

Wow talk about fair chance lol, hmm so if I asked you about Half-Life would you give me a unbiased opinion? I doubt you read what Bioshock and I wrote? Rainbow Six Vegas is a great game but 2 is just a little flashier then the first, sorry I just hate to waste $60 on a game that I pretty much already had or could get for $20.00 less, but like I said in my previous post "that is my opinion" :D!

You know what, I was really disappointed with Rainbow Six Vegas 2, there's an improvement in graphics and a bit in gameplay.

But it still feels too recycled, nothing much changed.

You should just get Dark Sector.

i was gonna buy dark sector, micheal rosenbaums a good voice actor. however i was gonna take a chance this month on army of two and this game and army of two looked more promising then this game. now after all that i really think this games gonna turn out bad, im gonna wait and see on it.

i hope its good i just got a bad feeling about the game personally and i haven't seen anythign thats really impressed me yet with the game. i hope it comes out good cause i could use another game this month. good luck with your decision

I Dont like both games that much but if you have to go with a choice, maybe dark sector, i thought rainbow six vegas 2 was going to be one of the best games this year, but it turns out to be a big disappointment, realistic44

You sound as if you already played them both lol.... Well gametrailers said DS is a mix between Gears of war with duck and cover system with a Resident Evil style gameplay... to me sounds like the opportunity to rock with that behind it... I loved both those games... just hope its really as good as those two... probably just be shorter... and thats sad

I plan on getting both first off. Now with RSV2 if you played the last one you know what your getting yourself into TONS OF FUN in SP & MP especially. Yeah there are some server problems with it right now but thats why things called "PATCHES" exsist. Now on to DarK Sector the graphics and gameplay seems to be ill and a must buy IMO, but seeing that its a new game I think you should do what im doin and thats waiting for a review first B4 you buy just to be sure. But if you want a game to buy now that I think would be the better choice go with RSV2. ddashboy242

Yeah you're right... of course I'll try to look up reviews before I have to go buy it... hopefully they review it the day of or if I'm lucky before... IGN usually does before... I hope thy do with this one

dark sector will last you a weekend, the multiplayer will be tacked on and sucky

yeah but shouldn't I wait anyways for the patches and stuff since it sounds to me like the servers right now are really bad.... then maybe with a game like that prices will drop...
