In game XMB will be a bust....

Without in game private chat. How they hell can they be so far behind. The one thing I was looking forward to most was in game chat. Lets face 90% of the games out there have terrible mic support systems. When you want to talk with your friends you end up listening to a little dipsh*t ranting about whos gonna stop lil wayne with it blearing in the back ground. Or there are games with no mic support or where the mics cut out. And I know there are a lot of people that would like to chat while playing a single player game.

I think sony really dropped the ball with no chat in game. It was the one thing I was looking forward to most with in game chat.

I can't even figure out how to talk in mgo. I have a blutooth and it works on cod4, but it doesn't work on MGO.NinjaSkills247

In-game XMB certainly won't be a bust without it, but it is the feature I want the most. Hopefully it makes it in.nyc05

Private chat doesn't require you to pause the game to chat.

On the 360, you hit the guide button, access your friends list, send a chat invite, and return to your game. You can play different games while chatting with a friend.

It's a very popular feature that is used a lot by tons of people.

I use it a ton on the 360, and I wish the PS3 had it.

For starters you wouldnt have to pause the game, im not sure how it would work on ps3 but on 360 you get a chat invite you press the guide button press accept and continue playing your game while talking to someone else or several people all playing different games.

It has no affect on game performance, its done through your system its not like in game chat that goes through other servers or the host, it would take up a tiny amount of your own internet speed.

Its a very good feature, it allows me to talk with my friends while im playing a single player or multiplayer game i dont have to quit to read a message or pause my game(it will disturb it for several seconds) then we can discuss something for free well minus your gold account and organize an online game or something without going back and forward through text/voice messages.

It would be an excellent feature on ps3 as it would save the need to quit your game just to read a message, and after the update it would save you from pausing your game several times to read/answer text messages.

Its a good feature i hope comes to ps3.
