A few days sago. I was playing LittleBigPlanet, and just when it was starting to go from the end of a level to the map, the screen turned white and didn't change. I was forced to shut off the system by the switch in the back. Once I turned the system on and tried to run a game...nothing came up. I tried another game, and then a DVD. Nothing worked. Could somebody please give me a solution (besides having it sent in) to fix this? Thanks!

Was the system moved? That can cause problems. Also did you notice if the disc was scratched on the inner circle. My first ps3 gave out a few months and the disc was scratched.

Hmmm not sure what to tell you. maybe check your video connection or something?

Edit: try unplugging the video cable and blowing into to get the dust out if it then do the same with the PS3 and the tv

Thank you both for the response. The system wasn't moved. The discs aren't [too] scratched,. Ones that worked before the problem I put in and it didn't work. I just tried unplugging the video cable. However, I don't think that that would have something to do with the issue. The thing is, once inserting the disc, it doesn't even spin...

Hmmm...alright. Thx! Well, could some of those disk cleaning discs solve this? I guess it isn't really a cleaning problem...
