In my opinion Crisis Core is the best despite its obvious shortcomings and I don't care what anyone else says about it, That's my view, so what do you say the best game is ???
Right now monster hunter 2, i thought id hate it......uhhhhh yeaa rapture -crys- any who doubt it should really give it a try when u have the extra cash, only because if u end up like\ing it u wont ever need another psp game... unite is gona have 500 hrs of gameplay.... nuf said
Jeanne D'arc is pretty nuts... So is Disgaea... Hard to say lol but then theres crisis core and god of war... o dear, so many choices so little time. If I were to pick one overall best, I'd have to agree with alot of people here - crisis core.
I can tell you that I LOVED Patapon, such an original game. I wonder where they got their inspiration from, I for one could never come up with a title so brilliant. And soon ima get my hands on patapon 2 when it comes out :lol: Joy to the world!
I used to be crazy over Crisis Core and GoW. Killzone was really good as well. So is Disgaea and Jeanne D'Arc. But despite all those games, my favourite is still ( and will forever be so ) Monster Hunter 2ndG. Get the English Patch ( unofficial ) and u'l adore this game. 350+ hours into it and still very engrossed in it. Best game for psp imo. In the long term that is.
FF7: Crisis Core is the best on the PSP at the moment. I would recommend FF Dissidia and Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep once they are released in English at least.

They're all very good games with sufficient storylines, as well as the best graphic detail coming from the PSP to date. If I were you I'd definitely consider buying one or all of these because they're absolutely worth it.
Although i quite like Crisis Core ,personally i found it too boring to finish it more than once...So i will choose , Silent Hill : Origins...I 've spent many hours playing it...
Ugh, shooters for the PSP are crap. Don't even lie. Perhaps in your opinion... Killzone Liberation doesn't have any control issues at all. Second Best PSP game.
My current favourite is Star Ocean: Second Evolution, though that probably has more to do with me playing it relentlessly than it being the best game on the system :P. Personally I'd say the best PSP game I've come across is Silent Hill: Origins. It perfectly captured the feeling of the originals in a handheld format. I'm surprised we haven't seen any more survival horror games on the PSP since.
Anyone else find it funny that you never hear anyone say MGS:PO is their favorite game anymore? I think Crisis Core converted these guys like a religion. It's a great game though, I can't blame them.
