Infamous 2 IGN Review!!!

Nice, i want to play this so bad, i really was hoping for a great score.

Just finished watching the video review. Really thinking about picking this game up when it comes out.

Same here with the Hero Edition.The only downfall of the game is the sometimes sloppy camera and that's why they lowered with whole 1 ?!?

Sloppy camera and lackluster melee mechanics to be specific and even if that did account for the 9.0, who really cares? It's a great game. It sounds like you're being a baby here.

If the camera keeps messing around through the entire game, then I can see how it would get a whole point off. Why do people complain about 9's. More games ending up falling somewhat flat than being truly awesome. My only problem is that the collectables are the same as the first game. I wanted more collectables than dead drops and blast shards.

I hope Sucker Punch toned down the difficulty among the enemy AI just a little bit. I remember in InFamous trying to collect blast shards but constantly getting shot to pieces from a million reapers that are all expert marksmen.

Reviews are meaningless to me. I honestly would've bought this game if it would've got a 5.5. This will definitely give me a reason to play my PS3 again.

Yeah I just watched the video, very hyped. Dunno if I should change my preorder to hero edition or not :P

i wasnt a huge fan of the 1st. it was very repetitive. this looks like more of the same. hope the missions are more varied than the last. especially since dead drops and those stupid blast shards have made a return.

Just played the demo at bestbuy and i was really impressed with it. I think i will for sure pick this game up even tho i havent finished the first one yet lol.

Did the review mention anything about how it'll import save data from the last game? I'd check myself but I'm trying to avoid knowing too much about it going in.

Wow wait, IGN liked it, but the hate everything. Well then, I knew there was a reason I can not wait for inFAMOUS 2. Day 1, and really really really really really can't wait for this game to come out, I need it badly

Yeah, I saw that. I asking more in regards to, say, whether it automatically chooses which files to import or if you're able to choose yourself.

he barely stated anything new that this game offers. he states a lot of

the same stuff, but it's a good thing in a way. hopefully it's as good of a leap as uncharted 2 was from

uncharted. i'll rent it for now. if it's worth buying, ill wait after a month or two for a $30 price tag.

i'll wait for more second opinions because the reviewer seems like the biggest infamous fanboy.

people pre-order games so that they can rack up points on their respective retailer reward cards.. which can then be redeemed as discounts..

Guess I'm going against the grain on this one. I recently canceled my hero edition pre-order. I'm not even gonna buy this game right away if at all. For some reason I just don't feel the game is gonna be that awesome to buy it day one. It's almost like the game seems like a rehash. Dead drops and blast shards, really!? Maybe it was just the video review that made it look lame cause all it showed was Cole throwing the same lame lightning bolts over and over. I'll wait for price drop.

soooo, i never played infamous 1 and now i hear it'll be one of the "we're sorry, have a free game" choices for when the psn store comes back up. anyone know when that will be? I'm kind of excited to play it

Still have yet to play the first one. Its dirt cheap now though so now is the time. gmaster456
