I just got to the second Island in Infamous and I want to know if you are able to go back anytime you want later in the game? I was kind of mad because I was still looking for the dead drops and shards.

Yeah you can but it becomes harder to find the missing shards because theres more ground to cover. Dead Drops are easy to find though.

yep eventually you'll do a mission where you get the bridge down and then you can travel between the islands as you please.

yea you will be able to go back whenever you want. there will be a mission that will allow you to enter the first island again.

Yeah, just do all of the story mode missions and you will come across one about opening up a bridge. It scared me too.
