Infamous Boring?

Is Infamous boring? I havn't played it yet, but I'm thinking sure the developers give you a massive map to play on, but since it's not like GTA, where you can eat and stuff, won't it get boring? Also, generally what do the missions require you to do?

There is a review for the game on here.. read it.. also check out wiki and see for yourself and no its not boring.. its way too fun and im still playing it even after i beat the game but on evil mode.

I don't mean it like that, I mean that in GTA, you can do things that you can't in this game, but both of these games have a massive sandbox map....So, if you can't do so many actions, won't that make this game boring?

Thanks, but when I said eating I kinda meant the things you could do in GTA, like go into buildings are restraunts and pubs and stuff.

I would never call inFamous boring. The parkour and combat are actually quite fun. The story is very entertaining and with the two morally-opposite story lines you get a completely fresh replay. Its almost like two campaigns in one. The story missions are all quite different. You may have to escort a bus full of hospital supplies, track down a nasty villian and infiltrate his hideout, blast down some spy planes and pull some info from the reckage, save your best friend from falling from the sky, save your girl from a telekenetic pyscho, keep a bunch of bad guys from breaking their ally out of prison, destroying a bunch of balloons with powerful lightning attacks to stop them from spraying the civillians down with toxic gas.... The list goes on. They're well varied, and there are a good amount of them. There are also tons of side missions. There are 15 good and 15 bad along with dozens of others. You may have to stop an armored bus that is mowing down civillians with its mounted machine guns, jump from rooftop to rooftop in a race against the clock, save clinics from being over ran by villians, perform certain moves so fans can take a picture of you, and a whole bunch more. Like I said, they're pretty varied. You get some pretty awesome power upgrades as you progress through the campaign and the villians get tougher and cooler. With that and the story I'd say there is plenty to look forward to. You may even find yourself leaping and gliding from rooftop to rooftop collecting the 350 blast shards scattered about the city and enjoying it. Infamous + Boring = Not true. :PNephilim83

I was thinking the same thing. Eating prolly was the funnest thing to do in the gta games. They get boring real quick.

The only thing that may make it boring a while down the road is that there is no reason to replay it after you beat it on both Hero and Infamous karmas. After finishing all of the story and side missions, there is absolutely no reason to keep playing.

Hunting down those blast shards is painfully boring.

I found eating annoying in San Andreas because CJ got "hungry". Atleast GTA4 was at any time just to refill health.

I suggest you read some reviews and watch some gameplay videos.

The gameplay is amazingly smooth, its very story driven, it has some humurous moments, awesome characters. If that sounds like your kind of game I'd go for it. I'm addicted right now.

I rented it, and i personally loved the game.

I played it threw three times during the course of one week and was pretty entertained by it.

The side mission get pretty repetitive, besides the karma side missions.

Blast Shards are always fun to collect as well.

I wouldn't personally buy the game.

But its definitley worth a rent.

No it doesn't get boring, especially if you areplaying as evil. You can just go around and destroy pretty much everything :)

You can go poo poo's after you eat in inFAMOUS, and not only that...the toilet minigame works like a poker machine where you pull a lever and much like a pokie, the toilet paper spins and depending on your luck, either gives you suffice amount, or too little.....then you have to wipe uranus with your hand.Harry_Balzac
