Well, the only way I KNOW how to get it is to pre-order the actual game. You usually have to put about $5 down to pre-order a game though. There could be other ways to get the demo but this is the only way I know how.
Well I do in fact have the game pre-ordered... but EB Games gave me a voucher code for a free unlockable superpower when the game comes out. Not a demo:(
Well, if you didn't get access to a demo by any of the ways listed above, don't fret. The demo will be available to everyone on the PS store this Thursday (the 21st).
Well maybe it's because you pre-ordered at EbGames, but that makes no sense because GameStop owns EbGames. (or is it the other way around?)
All I know is that my friend pre-ordered the game at GameStop and got the demo. I never did check to see if it was a disc that had the demo or if he just got a demo code thing. When he signs on to messenger I'll be sure to ask him, when I have my answer I'll PM you, that is...if nobody answers your question before then.

Okay, so i was waaay off. Lol. My friend pre-ordered inFAMOUS from BestBuy and they gave him like a pre-order box, and inside the box there was a code that he was told to enter on the PSN store to download the inFAMOUS demo. My bad. It's hard to keep up with that stuff when almost every store has a different promotional offer.
Ways to get the demo: 1) Wait till thursday when the demo will be put up for everyone on PSN 2) Preorder from Bestbuy to receive the demo code earlier than thursday 3) This is just a maybe. Preorder from gamestop then ask if they have any democodes left over. Several gamestop employees received the codes for the demo for themselves, but received a few extras and will possibly give them out as an incentive to preorder. Not going to happen 100%

It's quite long for a demo; it takes me about 45 minutes to an hour for each playthrough, and I've played through it quite a bit - it's fantastically addictive!Completely worth the download; it's one of the best demos I've ever played on the PS3.
yeah the demo is pretty awesome. i did the same just following the objectives and shooting people...took me about an hour. i'm sure it could've been faster but i was just exploring and trying all the moves and weapons. definitely getting this game!
