I agree the game deserves a 9.0 if not more. ive already played it for like 3 hrs straight. The one thing that suprised me was that the pre ordered promotional code for the super power up thing wont let u do it till june 3 and it ends in september... whats the point.....
Other than that its an amazing game and i think the graphics are good, and the movement is the best part, the character runs and flows good

lol i just picked up the game but im waiting for sony to send me my fixed ps3 ... haha i guess ill have the code working from the start

i haven't beaten it yet (taking a break) but i played it for about 5 hours and i haven't progressed too far in the story...to busy with all the side missions, checkin out the first island and viewing the differences between some of the morality choices...and i'm having a blast...i'm loving it!! a much welcomed change of pace from all the shooters!!
I'm just getting started with it, since inFamous just came out today, but so far, I'm extremely impressed - this is definitely going to be a contender for Game of the Year. It's great. If you haven't done so already, I highly recommend downloading the demo and giving it a spin; you'll be quickly hooked.
Well i waz going to wait for Prototype to come out in a week, read the reviews and comparisons of these two games than choose wich one to get first, but since reading this article i think i mite go grab Infamous 2day. If Prototype does happen to be as good/better than Prototype thn i spose il get it to.

Yea, I love it! I have not enjoyed a super hero game this much since Spiderman 2 first came out.... and thankfully this is WAY better so far (looking back, the missions in Spiderman 2 were dumb repetitive). And this is probably the most satisfying it has ever felt to level up and progress my character!

From the moment I played the demo I knew I had to get this game. inFamous is probably one of the best PS3 games I've ever played and it's so worth the hype. Even though I'm still in the begining so far I'm already hooked! Bravo, Sucker Punch.:D

That'd be even MORE stupid for them to let us start out with one of the more powerful weapons in the game... One of the things I'm loving the most is building up my character. By the end of the first island, it's VERY satisfying how far you've progressed.... I d/l the code and don't have gigawatt blades yet. But I am okay with that.... upgrading and unlocking new powers is part of the addiction. Having the code for gigawatt blades just means I have one more power than everyone else gets to unlock... and that's cool enough by itself for me!

the combat is repetitive as hell and the controls still aren't there. cole kind of has a mind of his own every once in a while you start loosing a bit of control because of the auto stick controls. the combat controls don't really work well either with the combat in the game your constantly surrounded, which is another thing every battles the same huge wave after wave after wave. you feel so heroic climbing the building which is done really well but cole is just plain weak in combat you don't feel like a hero during the combat thats for sure. its uneven but it balances out to being and ok game in the end. the story is pretty generic but the decision you can make are cool so ill play it again as evil afterwards all in all its a decent summer game seeing as summers usually a dry spell when it comes to gaming its really pleasant game all things considering.

Sounds to me like you haven't gotten very far in the game.... for one... the combat is not repetitive. The scenarios continue to switch up for different combat situations. Secondly, the more you play, the more powerful you become... that's the point. It is a hero origin story... so you actually get a sense of your character becoming more and more powerful. The game is awesome.
I just got it and ive just finished the the sewer level, but im REALLY liking it. way better than the demo I think. Does anybody know when I get my damn static thrusters? (hovering thing)

i think its awsome, the first level was sick, walking around after the bomb just went off, the desisions you have to make, make the game so cool, so i really think it does deserve a 9
I'm about 3 hours in, and really enjoying it. Reminds me a lot of Crackdown (one of my favorite games this gen) Gonna cook some dinner for the old lady then rock the game till I fall asleep!
