InFamous, GTA 4 or Modern Warfare 2?

Which of these 3 games should I buy? And why?

I just need a game that would make me play my ps3 more. :D My games are COD 4, COD 5, Tekken 6 and SC 4.

if you don't have a shooter MW2. If you want an awesome free roam super hero game infamous. If you want the worst GTA in the series get GTA4.Javieralijandro

GTA IV took a while to grow on me, and I'm a huge GTA fan. But I had a blast online with friends doing stuff like 1 sec respawn, on a small map, near eachother with rockets or snipers. And doing stuff like that was a blast.

InFamous was the first game in a while that really sucked me in and kept me playing for a while. Borrowed it from a friend, and beat it completely. And I still wish I had it to pop in every now and then.

Modern Warfare 2 is a great shooter. Especially for online multiplayer. Nothing new or groundbreaking, but just a solid setup, and why fix something that's not broken?

I haven't played GTA4 but I do know about the other two.

Infamous will be more fun while you play it, but you won't be playing it as long. Getting the platinum probably took me about 30-40 hours, while I have already spent 50+ on MW2 online and plan to keep going strong until a new game comes along to steal my interest for a bit.

If those are your ONLY possible choices, I would recommend a good book.

Infamous: Awesome if youlove repetitive.

GTAIV: Awesome if you like the worst a franchise has to offer.

MW2: Awesome if you enjoy blowing $60 on a game that can be beaten in 5 hours.

To get the most out of your money, if you play online, then go for MW2. Infamous can be fun in short bursts but becomes repetitive quickly if your trying to get everything. GTA IV was just bad, as someone said before me, the worst in the series.

I would say GTA 4 since I had the most fun with that game out of the three. MW2 is vastly overrated and Infamous was just way too repetative.PolarBear_88

It's up to you, you could probably pick up Infamous and GTA 4 for the same price as you could pick up Modern Warfare 2 for.

Infamous is completely overrated and suffers from "billions of enemies forever and ever" syndrome. It's also very repetitive and while the powers look cool you'll realize that they really are just your traditional guns in disguise so it's really a glorified boring free roam shooter.

MW2 is also very overrated but more easy to stomach than Infamous. The single player campaign throws every summer action movie cliche at you every 10 minutes, it's a pretty exciting setpiece spamfest but then again its only 3-4 hours when I played it. Don't buy if you don't plan on playing multiplayer. The core of multiplayer is ok but the map design is terribly amateur and leads to a lot of WTF moments. Try before you buy.

GTA 4 is one of the greatest single player experiences I've ever had. So many interesting characters, such smart humor, such great gameplay, great story, so much fun. Multiplayer is decent, I only play free roam with my friends so I can't speak about the other modes.

I'd definitely get GTA4 if I were you. It can be found very cheap now and it's an experience that you should not deny yourself. MW2 is also a solid multiplayer offering but whether or not you think you have the patience for it is up to you. Infamous can wait.

I have all 3 games .

From those , i would get GTA 4. It has the best story , solid MP ( not many people play it anymore though ) , long SP . . . MW2 SP last's around 4 hours , so don't get it if you don't care about MP . InFamous is good too , but i liked GTA 4 far more .

I would also suggest Batman : AA instead of Infamous . . .

How come everyone giving crap to gta4? i actually thought it was the best in series. much better than that san andres, which is beyond bad in every aspect. but anyways for single player go with gta iv, and for multiplayer go with cod4mw2.

Saints Row 2 is better then GTA 4 it has plenty of more stuff to do and it's more fun and you can create your own character.

Out of the 3 games I'd say inFAMOUS good game although I finished it once but I never got in the mood of playing it again but I'd recommend Saints Row 2 over GTAIV.

depends really on what your looking for

id come up with 3 new picks. mw2 is nothing special. and i especially hate the physics of it. gta4 is my pick for biggest letdown this gen. worst one ive played. getting called to go on "man dates" while on the run from the 5-0 and hittin up cyber cafes in a video game in a attempt to meet chicks online is just down right disturbing to me. i cant say much about infamous though, havent played it. looks like they replaced your guns n grenades with electricity is all.

get mgs4 if you dont already have it. its cheap now and it has the best sp and underrated mp af any game out there for the dollar value.

The only one I own out of those 3 is inFamous. I highly recommend it. It's just fun. If you're more into online multiplayer, though, I'd say go for MW2. inFamous definitely doesn't have multiplayer.

Hey guys, I've decided to take out MW 2 from the list since its basically MW with new sh!t and stuff.

Soo, now it's just inFamous and GTA 4. Which one for Christmas? :D

I know you guys are fed up with this post but I really need a game that would keep me playing until FFXIII.
