inFamous is like the Spiderman games

I just picked up inFamous last week and it completely exceeded my expectations! Im hooked on it and can't stop playing. I was surprised by the style of gameplay though, I though it was going to be a more linear story but instead you can do the main story ,or side missions, or just run around and find stuff. In many ways its just like the old Spiderman games fo rthe PS2 (10x better though!). You go around the city and find people to do missions for, some story and some side missions.

Anybody else play those games and think the same?

Yeah, it does remind me a bit of Spiderman 2 lol, like the way you upgrade your powers and the side missions and stuff.

And I guess I forgot to mention the comic book style of it!

Infamous wasn't spectacular but it had an interesting story going for it and good graphics (apart from facial animation). Spider-man 2 was also good with great web-slinging and diverse missions but the worse part about movie games is actually going through the story. The train fight I thought was cool though.

Prototype is way more like Spider Man, I think.

That said, Prototype is the worst game I've played this gen.

Ah HA!! No wonder I don't like inFamous....I HATE Spiderman so much...

Hmm..I dont know, this looks MORE mature, anyways both are great games

phew, I thought you were going to bash the game and compare it with Spiderman:P At some parts and gameplay elements it looks like Spiderman but like you said it's much better. The story sucks you in and is great, so are the gameplay and the controls.
