inFamous screen resolution problem

I got Infamous a few nights ago and its fun, but I got a problem - It runs in 480i for some reason. I dont know why or how to change it.

My PS3 menu runs in 720p. Uncharted runs in 720p. All the demos I download run fine in 720p without me having to set it up every time, but for InFamous I am stuck with 480, and there is nothing in the options.. How do I change this???

Because it looks absolutely terrible....

And when I bring up the PS Nav bar while in-game, it's also visibly low-resolution, compared to when Im not in the game

this could be a stupid question but how do you know it's running in 480i?jasong1011

any ideas? I ask the official PS support but who knows how long that will take... are there any hidden options in the game for resolution?
