Infamous Second Son discussion

What did you guys think? I like the new character you are going to be playing as. Seems to have soom really interesting powers.

This was my favourite announcement today for sure. Sucker Punch is my favourite Sony dev and inFAMOUS is my favourite Sony IP. I wonder if this game will exist within the current inFAMOUS universe or if it is its own thing entirely. I think it's really intriguing that the guy inquired what would happen if a person with superpowers appeard in a paranoid, overprotected, freedomless society. It will be interesting to see how moral choices effect this scenario.

So I wonder if the title is a reference to the creators of the Ray Sphere: the First Sons

What? They're releasing another inFamous! Damn! can't they just have a good IP finish with a strong ending then move on? Is that too much so ask?

My most anticipated PS4 game so far.  Can't wait to hear and see more about it!

Hopefully this will be a launch title. I have played both Infamous games and they are both really great, I am not so bothered that the next leaves Cole behind and a new protagonist is introduced. As long as the game truly feels like Infamous as well as implementing new features and a good story, I'll be invested in it.

Meh.  Very underwhelming.

-Second Son is set 7 years after Cole's adventures

-The D.U.P. (department of unified protection) are monitoring the streets to locate people like Cole so that they can prevent what happened in the past inFAMOUS games from ever happening again.

Looks cool with some sweet new powers.

There's just so much potential left in this IP gameplay wise. It would have been supremely unfortunate if they ended the series before they realized that potential especially if the reason they ended it was just because of the story.
