Infinity Ward Removing COD4 glitchers

According to their official Twitter account, Infinity Ward is going through and removing any gamertag/PSN ID who is exploiting the hack. Haha...hope you suckers are happy. Enjoy your PS3 with no online functionality!

Also says Infinity Ward is looking into a more permanent fix as well.

Same here. Good to see they are taking aggressive action though. I was going to move to Killzone 2 if they hadn't done something this week. Hats off to Infinity Ward though. Hopefully this hack will soon be eradictaed completely.

My wife was furious with all the glitchers in COD4 last night. First time she has played for a while so she wasn't aware of the problem.

Hm, they finally got off their high horse and decided to fix their game for once. While their at it they can give me trophies, rumble and most importantly, fix the numerous online problems ("host ended the game", "connection error" etc).

Hmm...time to unglitch my save. I don't want to get "removed."

Last night I had a few people over and we all wanted to take turns on some online COD4. We tried for almsot 2 hours and never got to play one sigle match. The glitchers have taken over. We were so bummed.

We even formed conspiracy theories about the whole thing.

I'll never understand why people need to go online and be jerks like that. Then again, there are alot of sick people in this world.

Haha...just kidding. You make an interesting point though. A removed PSN ID isn't nearly as costly as a removed XBOX gamertag.

I can't stand COD, but good to hear they are keeping on top of COD4 still ( They really dont need too when you have COD6 around the corner. )

Yeah, they said that before too. It's because their encryption is a joke. I've read the whole guide on how to hack. It's something a five year old can do. Nobody's bending backwards and they've had entire forums on it. IW sucks. I sold my copy a long time ago. Waste of $60 imo

Take it with a grain of salt. They'll come back. Sure hacking in games suck, but it really is IW's fault for leaving it so open and exposed.

I say ban their PS MAC addresses, perma gimp their PS. Removing their PSN's from the server only bans them from COD4 only. trasherhead

and i was having fun killing them it was frustrating playing with them at first but after i found out that you could kill the flying ones with headshots i would wait until they start flying and hit em with a head shot one even got mad and started screaming in the headset how is he killing me? and i replied its duck season and some one said it was rabbit season and all hell broke loose

:lol: Thats golden honestly I could just see the lobby going "Duck Season" and one half shouting "Rabbit season". Also fair play for figuring out how to kill the glitchers as well
