we already knew it was coming but i think it confirms that it'll be here shortly after GDC. sony would be pretty stupid to release those shirts and then no info on it. there would be very angry/hurt/vengeful PS3 owners.

How does a T-Shirt prove anything?catlin_czirr

youre right.

sony would waste money making t-shirts because theyre NOT announcing in-game xmb.

how thoughtless of me.

Seriously, what proof does a T-Shirt hold? There is no confirmation of this at all, this is just speculation.

EDIT: And where is your proof that those are even made by Sony? they could just have been made at any T-Shirt shop.

Anyone could easily make a shirt that says "in-shirt XMB" on the front, take a picture of it, and say they got it at GDC, again this proves NOTHING, even though I would LOVE in-game XMB, im just not gonna get excited (again) and be let down (again)

That looks legit to me, but that's still a cool shirt regardless of who made it.

Text is cheesily photoshopped onto the shirt.
There's no way that text is on a real shirt, it's not even a good job of photoshopped,
the shirt has some minor blur, they could at least position the text correctly and add
that in so it looks "real" rather than "cheesy".

http://kotaku.com/358364/sonys-wise+ass-xmb-shirts

Kotaku reported on it. I don't smell any distrust. Though we could be wrong.

I see it like this: If the shirts are real, which they seem like they are. I'm pretty sure Sony wouldn't print up such a silly idea as a mockery to the cries of Sony fans for in-game XMB unless they were planning a release of it quite, quite soon. If they did and weren't, then Sony is a bully and we should all call our mums. That or perhaps just share in with the laugh.

It would be really cool if sony released those shirts and you can access your xmb by tapping on the shirt itself. And like navigate teh menus using a touch sensitive shirt.

It's legit, saw it on kotaku earlier but the only things i get out of it are:

1. Wanting one of the shirts.

2. Sony has a pretty cool sense of humor lol

Yup, means nothing.

Sweet stuff. Are those In-Shirt XMB shirts a hint at an update to be released this week for the PS3?

Jeff Rubenstein replied on February 19, 2008 at 6:15 pm -

It's us being cheeky. It's a developer's conference, not hardware or firmware, so no announcements on that front this week.

Those t-shirt must be authorized by Sony, because they have the Playstation Logo on them which are copyrighted by Sony.

But again this proves nothing, this could just be a joke/tease by the Sony people or it could be confirmation (that we already got earlier this year) that in-game xmb is coming.

Again I'm not saying in game XMB isn't being worked on at this very moment but stop taking everything for fact. It is a t-shirt.

It's just a shirt, it doesn't prove anything. They shoulda went the distance and made some "In-Shorts XMB" shorts. Talk about "cheeky", could had the whole ensemble.

It proves that they're not deaf and are aware that people want In-Game XMB.

I'd like that shirt more if it actually had the XMB on it. then it would make sense.
