Since Sony isn't going to do anything for us to be able to transfer umd games to the psp go, wouldnt it be a good idea for us being able to install games from the umd. Monster Hunter Feedom Unite and i think Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce let us install like half of the game, so why shouldnt they do that. And they should have a limited number of times we would be able to install it for legal reasons.

When you install something you only a put a few things on the HD to save loading times not to play them without a UMD.

I'm not sure they'd be able to program that into a umd to only be able to do it a limited number of times. That would mean the psp would have to be able to burn information onto the umd and it doesn't have that capability. Another thing would be to require access to the psn network for verification for new games (can't be done for older ones). That too would also limit the market a bit if they don't use the psn.

Can you see where this would run into some problems?

Better yet, it could run off of the memory stick, but just require that the UMD be inserted, like that console of Sony's competitor. Why can't they just do that? That way, nobody loses money.

Well i thought it was a pretty good idea. Never thought about future problems it might have cause. THE PSP And the psp go would have been in the same level with each other since you could have saved all of your games on memory sticks on the psp.
