Installing games to hard drive question

When you install a game to the hard drive (for the games that allow you to do this), do you have to still have the disc inserted in order to play?

Yes you need the Disc unless you downloaded the game off the Playstation network.

Installing the files from the disc just helps improve the loadtimes for the game.
