Depending on what kind you are looking for, Fallout/ Oblivion- great western RPG with loads of exploring and looting Disgaea 3- if you like turn based strategy RPGs Demon's Souls - if you want a great challenge with big boss encounters White Knight Chronicles/ Demon's Souls - if you would like to have multiplayer as well as single player adventures I personally like all of these a lot

I have Demon Souls and Love it! How is White Knight Chronicles thought? Good story line? Simple no.

Valkyria Chroniclesis a must. I would also recommend Eternal Sonata and probably Resonance of Fate(haven't played enough to give a full recommendation). Dragon Age or Fallout 3 for WRPGs. As of about ten hour Trinity Universe I am enjoying it, I'd give it a try if you like dungeon crawlers and don't hate anime.
The only PS3 RPG I have played was Eternal Sonata. I only played the 360 version though. But I think the PS3 one is the same except a few extra features. So I can recomend that, it's pretty cool.
yeah I think so but if you wasnt GOTY edition it will $60 but its a win win dealRyo57
I heard that the DLC causes freezing and what not, but I wasnt interested in that , the game it self is lengthy enough until newer games I want come out.
Well take that type of game, same style combat/heavly story driven with alot of dialog and choices that effect the game. Plus great characters. And put it in a mature fantasy setting. If you like the setting, GET IT ! Just play on hard or nightmare, so you have to play more tactically, pausing & giving commands, re-positioning party members. Kinda turning it into a semi-turn based style combat. Instead of trying to play it like an action rpg in real time only. Just remember to set your L2 to hold not toggle, so you can give multiple commands, without it unpausing every time. And tell your guys to HOLD, if you dont want them moving around on their own in battle.
rpg games that gives you an open world maybe fun, but id perfer a game where its more structured, like Demon's Souls. its more challenging and feels more like a rpg
final fantasy 13, folklore, valkyria chronicles, demon's souls, eternal sonata, resonance of fate, fallout 3, oblivion, dragon age, white knight chronicles, star ocean last hope international
or buy a ps2 and you have an rpg fans dream machine. from that list only ff13, valkyria chronicles, demon's souls, fallout 3 and maybe dragon age would be considered must play rpg's.
